Disclaimer: This is our 1st Blackstone Griddle. We've always wanted one but we travel frequently between our home and a Northern cabin, and didn't want to buy 2 separate ones for each house. We also did not want a large 36" 4 burner Blackstone as they aren't very portable, too heavy and difficult for 1 person to load into a vehicle. Found the 1935 Blackstone and bought it for the hubs for Christmas, and it was a great investment. Folding it up is a breeze, and it transports nicely. We have made several Blackstone recipes on it - Chicken Fajitas (wow), Chicken Quesadillas (Wow), Smashburgers (WOW), a shredded hash brown breakfast with onions/peppers/ham/cheese and an egg cracked on tip (Literally life changing), and a few other small things like Slim Jims - thats a grilled ham sandwich on a hoagie bun for you non-midwesterners. So after all the raving I have done, I do have a few points of contention: Trying to move the griddle around can be a PITA as the folding legs try to fold back up if you try to move it any distance (like from the garage to the patio). It takes 2 people to move to lift it a few inches to get up onto a deck for example, or it will try to fold up and collapse. Also my husband has commented a few times that it's hard/takes longer to make certain things because it only has 2 burners and wont get/stay hot enough if you have a lot of food spread across the griddle, like when you'd be cooking for 3-4-5-6 people. Oh, and especially if there is ANY breeze. He's had to block the wind from going up into the backside of the unit a few times. I figured this would be a stepping stone Blackstone for us, and that we'd eventually want to upgrade to a 3 or 4 burner unit, and I think I was spot on with that prediction. However, it is hard to want to upgrade to the bigger, "non-portable" type yet. Even with its minor faults, this griddle still does what a Blackstone should do and does it well enough. We use this in our trailer camping, at home and tailgating. It is heavy, but it is a griddle and well made. It is so nice, we have been thinking of getting a bigger one for home so this portable is only for camping and tailgating.

We are a family of three so this 22" is the perfect size grill for us and our small patio. We've used it once but we think we're going to like it. It's easy to use and easy to clean. We can't wait to use it again. We think our next meal on the grill might be breakfast!

What can I say other than I. Love. It.!! If you know, you know. Blackstone is the pinnacle of griddle cooking. The fact that this one folds up and fits easily into the pickup truck to go anywhere is the icing on the cake! Are you going to feed a whole army of hungry people with this size griddle? No. But it is the perfect size for cooking smaller meals on for a couple or a small family. I did have one minor issue. When I was putting it together, I found a broken weld on the piece that one of the wheels fastens to. I called Blackstone customer service and spoke to Brody. It was so new the warranty wasn't even registered yet. He took the few minutes to register it right then and got the part on it's way to me in about a week. The broken part didn't hinder me from using the griddle so there was absolutely no inconvenience at all. I can't even knock off a star for it because it went so well! ... show more

I ordered one with 4 day delivery and got it in three. Easy assembly, solid unit. I applied three layers of seasoning to grill surface as recommended and it looks great. Caught some fish and will krisin it with a fish dinner. Great quality, great delivery with this vendor. They left updates and communicated with me regarding delivery date and time. Steer clear of vendors with 2-3 week deliveries, they use your money for a month then refund you claiming it was lost. Stick with a vendor like this. I highly recommend them. ... show more

To my amazement the box that the grill came in was not good but the packaging that Blackstone used did the job. Product was delivered late but that is the risk one takes when ordering on line vs picking up locally Great grill would recommend to all If you are going to cook for 20 people get the bigger one ( I have the 3 burner and it is awesome as well) ... show more

This would be my second blackstone grill. I needed a portable option for a camping trip coming up. I searched for awhile and was contemplating buying a cheap knock off version. I didnt want to risk it so I bit the bullet and purchased this model. Its a heavy boy but with the built in foldable legs and rollers, its super easy to move around and thats what I wanted and needed. I cant speak on how easy its to use just yet, but its a blackstone, I'm sure itll work just like my non portable one. Ill change my review if something comes up in the next few weeks. ... show more
