I have used these curtains in several rooms. I highly recommend for bedrooms. You can easily open them to let the light in, but they certainly darken a room if you close them. The overall look and feel of them is awesome. It's a steal for these curtains. I have seen this type of quality for much higher prices at stores. There's a lot of versatility of colors and they really hold up. I've had mine for about two years and they still look great. I've washed them and color does not fade. Definitely recommend these. These make a huge difference! There is a light right outside of my bedroom, so I needed these just to block light at night. (Now I end up waking up later or weekends, lol) Photos were taken at 11am on an overcast day but you can tell how much darker the room is with curtains closed vs opened.     • Very happy with the coral color, but not really a blackout curtain

I purchased these in the 85" length, but...the measurement of the 85" is from the top of the curtain to the bottom, which means the top 1 1/2" is situated above the grommet and removes the 1 1/2" from the bottom of the curtain so they are 'short' on my wall since my rod was pre-hug at 85". Luckily these are in my office and I have my desk near one side of the window and a dog bed on the other side, so it's almost unnoticeable to most people that come in. So make sure, if you are hanging these on a pre-hug rod, you account for the portion of the 85" that is above the rod/grommet. These came VERY wrinkled and even with a iron it won't come out, I think it may need a clothing steamer to remove the wrinkles. The fabric has an odd feel to them, but I'm not touching them daily so this isn't an issue for me. They are not blackout curtains, they do block a lot of light, but glow coral, so if you want a true blackout curtain, these will not be what you want. ... show more

I only had afew weeks to fix up my guestroom for my sister and brother-in-laws visit from Ohio. Panic set in. My guest room is both hot and bright. It's sits on the corner of my house with Southern Exposure all day. No trees for shade. I was hesitant on ordering online for curtains. When I got these I was so pleased! Only ordered 4 panels incase I didn't like them. After hanging what I bought, I got right back on Amazon and hit buy again! Once again seller got them to me in only 2 days. Love, Love, Love them! Used 6 panels in guestroom. Perfect! My blinds are just standard hardware store quility, so they don't help brightness or heat control at all. The drapes themselves are really heavy and well made. Not that snaggy material that grabs everything. Beautiful feel to them. They look super expensive. For a lady that lives in a doublewide with limited income, I was truly proud of the outcome. Trailers stay hotter than normal houses so it's a challenge keeping it cool. Room looked amazing when Sister arrived. Absolutely is making that room much cooler, and kept it dark so the sun didn't wake them up at 6am. This seller and these curtains will be getting more business from me for sure. The color looks off in the picture I took. The picture doesn’t do these curtains justice - they look two toned and light/pale blue. They absolutely do not look like this is person. They are a deep teal and they’re one solid color! These curtains were the absolute best price of anywhere that I looked and because of this I was skeptical. Obviously, they need to be ironed or steamed - but that’s all curtains when you first get them. Some of the reviews said that these are true blackout curtains - I was also skeptical about this. However, for me they have proven to be “blackout” curtains. These are on my huge living room window and they do a PERFECT job of keeping the sun out. Honestly, I highly recommend these. The only negative that I have is that they don’t necessarily feel super soft - they’re almost a velvet-y texture. The look is not at all velvet-y and I don’t really plan on rubbing my curtains too often- so this isn’t a huge issue at all. Again - I did SO much research and searching for curtains that were the right size, color and price and these were an amazing surprise! I was nervous that the package said “turquoize”. They match my teal tv stand and bookshelf and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. ... show more

I bought these in a few colors to see which would work best. In the pictures you can see the difference between Teal and Aqua. These curtains are really nice! They are a little bit heavier than others. They did arrive very wrinkled, so I will have to iron them, but that's expected.

I just received the curtains today. I ordered them in white, it’s 4pm and it’s cloudy outside and this is how they look. I’m not sure what to think of them. They do block sunlight better than others that I’ve bought, but I would not say they block them out completely, at least not in the white color as shown on these pics. I’m putting a pic of one of my windows with the curtains on and another pic of my window with them on. I’m strongly considering returning them. ... show more

Returned this item because it was nothing close to the advertised color. I got the shade "Aqua" because in the examples it looked more like turquoise (not to be confused with the brand name) than any other shade. Unfortunately it doesnt look close to my idea of "Aqua" either; it's more like a light dusty blue. The pictures I included are the closest you will get to the true color not seen by the naked eye. As far as the quality of the product, they are soft and very nice looking. Good choice for the $$$ if you dont need to match a specific color. ... show more
