I have never had a bagless vacuum, but I admit it is pretty handy. Although, damp or sticky things may get a little messy. Stick to dry vacuuming. Well designed cannister and easy to empty and install. It is very quite compared to most vacuums I have had. It has a washable/reusable filter. If I had one minor issue I wish it were a tad lighter. However, some lightness is sacrificed for sturdiness and this thing is built well. For a low price, good quality, bagless vacuum, I highly recommend. Prime delivered this item the next day! Impressed it’s easy to use and efficient. It picks up dirt well and it’s not loud either so that was a big plus. It works really well, great design all the attachments are easy to use and remove. I thought it was lightweight compared to others. I would recommend this product

I was late becoming a Bissell customer since I only purchased my first one about 7 years ago. I have originally purchased a VERY cheap but descent vacuum with fantastic reviews. It worked well for over 7 years, with the only con being it was VERY loud! It finally stopped working, and instead of replacing belts, or deep cleaning it, it was time for a NEWER upgrade. I had purchased a cordless about 6 years ago, along with the best shampoo, steam mop, I had ever owned. This turned me into a BISSELL customer for life! Incidentally, that cordless is STILL going strong at almost 7 years, and it’s my go to for ALL mess on the floor, the furniture, my bed, my furniture! So, I bought the updated version of the cordless, and it’s even BETTER! Leaving me with this purchase for vacuuming my carpets, wood floors and rugs. I research EVERYTHING! This vacuum is a STAND out at over 70k reviews and a 4.6 rating overall! I reviewed ALL the videos and these helped me decide on this FANTASTIC purchase! I unpacked carefully without instructions in about 5 minutes without issue. It has EVERY tool for attachments and all but the corner attachment stay on board. The electric cord is plenty long to meet all the needs of my 2 BR apartment without having to replug elsewhere. GREAT time saving feature! The suction is VERY powerful! I accidentally underestimated its power and reach, and it grabbed some crochet attached to a ball of yarn……….oops! My mistake! I will NOT underestimate this baby again! I am a kinda clean freak, and believed my floors were very clean!! 😮. By the time I had finished my master bedroom, the bagless container was COMPLETELY full of my Gabriel’s (11 pound Pugzu) hair and more dust than is believable! It has 2 HEPA filters included, and for people with allergies, this vacuum gets an A++. It went straight from my high pile carpet to my wood floors, without a hitch or changing the settings! I completed by doing a deep clean on my living room furniture, to see how much I could get out after emptying the container into the trash with one click of a button! Once again, the bag was half full of doggie hair and dust! So, I am giving this Bissell a 5 star review, which is rare for this clean freak! I had my reservations, but I really like it 4.5 stars worth. It's not the strongest one out there, but it does a nice job of cleaning up all the c r a p (dirt, hair, food, bird feathers, etc.) that ends up on our floors, whether it's the living room carpet, the dining room rug, or the kitchen hard floors, it takes care of it lickitty split. Thought the swivel was a gimmick, but it does make it easier to drive around. The pix show what it picks up, and it emptied with the simple push of the button. Had a Hoover which had more suction, no swivel, and considerably heavier, plus a poor handle design (it broke). Also had an LG, heavier than the Hoover. This Bissell is easier to use and maneuver on floors & stairs, does a pretty good job, and cost considerably less. Go ahead and get one, it works! ... show more

This vacuum is way better than my shark navigator as far as suction on my thick carpet. The pet hair tool on my steps has an awesome suction as well. love how the extra pieces fits on the vac so you won’t have to worry about misplacing them. Assembling was very easy there’s to little screws to hold the handle in place i don’t know if it’s my screwdriver but screwing them in wasn’t an ease to me. The hose is not long at all so reaching high places might be a problem but you gotta do what ya gotta do to make it work and once again the powerful suction trumps minor flaws. It gives a cheap toy like look. it’s an awesome buy to me so far. ... show more

It was time to replace a Miele Vac that I had had for 20 plus years. I have a Corgi (for those of you who don't know, Corgi's shed 2x a year - for 6 month each time) so that means lots of dog "glitter" on the rugs, floor and furniture. After reading reviews, I went with the Bissell. First time using, I was astounded not only by the amount of dog hair it picked up but by the amount of "dirt" that was hiding in my carpets. I have had it about a month and I am still impressed by the suction. I would highly recommend this vacuum - even if you don't have dogs or cats. Another great feature, is how easy it is to clean out the dust collection chamber - no more expensive bags. If it had an automatic rewind feature for the cord it would be perfect. Note: The vac is heavy so if you have to take it between floors that could be an issue. ... show more

From the swivel head to the ease of empty, this vacuum gets 5 Stars. I have had this for 8 months and use it at least 1 once a week and have found it to exceed expectations on all uses. The suction is excellent, the cord retrack is excellent. It is powerful, yet light. the ONLY thing is the design for the storage of some attachments is cumbersome and sometimes they get knocked off. But I would highly recommend this vacuum. I am not getting anything out of this I just used it and thought I really like this machine so thought I would do a review! ... show more
