I use the base plate, the magnetic cutting mat with the light color side facing up, the cardstock, die facing down and adapter place on top. I have the Bira Craft Die ADJUSTABLE cutting and embossing machine. I use the 2D embossing setting and one time through is all it takes.

    • Curves after very little usage
Size: 1 Magnetic Cutting Mat
This worked great for the first dozen times I used it. The magnetic pad makes it easy for perfect placement of the die. Then it got a huge curve down the middle. It's so curved that any die larger than an inch can't lie flat, defeating the entire purpose of the magnet. I don't die cut often, so this shouldn't have happened with as little use as it gets.
