These are now my new favorite sticky mats to use! They might start off a little too sticky, but over time it loses sticky-ness, but they work really good for making stickers! When you first use it, just carefully peel the sticker paper off of the mat to avoid tearing the backing off.

I supposed I am writing this so I can remember for the next time. These mats are very reasonably priced, but I need to remember they are one of the most stickiest mat's I have every met! I tried to cut stencil vinyl on it and the backing of the vinyl stuck to the mat. No big deal as far saving the stencil, but the mat is a mess and very difficult to get the paper off it (I know about cleaning mats BTW). I am not new to this world of vinyl, cutting, HTV's, etc. This happened the last time I bought these with card stock, which was destroyed. I cleaned the mat and it lasted a while longer. Back to the present... The next thing I needed to cut I made sure to literally put the mat on my shirt to pick up some lint to lessen the tackiness. Even the Cricut Fabric mat has less stick, but six of these for the price will last me at least a year (maybe less if I don't remember to de-stick them). That's why the 4 star rating. I will read other reviews and see if I am the only one having this issue. Even when I was laying my piece on the mat, barely touching it to be sure the vinyl was placed straight, etc.... even then the mat grabbed the back of the paper and I barely touched it. Now at that point I should have realized what was going to happen, because it happened in the past. But I will buy them again! :) ... show more

Needed to replace my cricut mats but couldn't bring myself to spend the money on the brand price (sorry cricut). I've purchased the HTVRont vinyl before so I figure I'd give these mats a try especially for the price! I've only needed to use them once since purchasing (standard mat is the one i used) but they do the job! I went from having hardly any sticky mat to VERY sticky mat. Serioislt , they are super sticky, but I'd rather them be too much than not enough. I am sure it will let up with more use. Just be mindful that it may take some of the paper backing off of whatever material you are using. Didn't damage my project at all. Overall happy with my purchase and would buy again. ... show more
