I had been using the standard grip mat by Cricut and when I received these I reached for the standard grip and I had to scrap my first few projects because they were stuck completely to the mat and I couldn’t get them off. Finally just tried the light grip and it worked as the cricut branded standard grip mat. After washing the light grip mat one time it seemed to maintain stickiness better than the circuit branded mats did after washing. They’re great if you are careful about how you’re placing your materials on them. They’re all about twice as sticky as the circuit mats. Be careful with first few uses. ... show more
