I have had black heads since I became a teenager but never really cared to do much about them as acne (pimples) were much more important to keep in line and since I rarely got them on my face I didn't wash like I was supposed to on my face. Recently I have tried using different body washes and noticed the ones with charcoal seemed to help many problems that I have had issues with in the past so when I come across this I had to jump on it. Both me and my spouse used these and we were both extremely surprised by the results. I was worried as was she that it wouldn't produce very well and then be extra painful during the removal process. I was especially worried as she had used black head extractor tools on me weeks before and I had to stop her because I was in tears, talk about painful! The instructions are pretty simple and they are on the outside of the box, inside of the box, the side of the box and the outside of the plastic sleeve the strip is in. It's super hard to miss and if you by chance don't do this right then it's really your own fault. We both washed our faces with warm water than let a warm rag lay on our nose for a minute or two to really open up the pours. We removed the strip from the package and twisted it in both directions (this is to make sure it's flexible to go on your nose) then applied it to our wet noses. Now, it's important to mention that your nose HAS to be wet for this to work as this will not stick to dry skin and even states so, this allows it to form and stick extra well on your nose. You then wait 10 to 15 minutes or until the strip is firm and hard (dry) then just peel it off it states, but we ripped it off not to prolong the agony. To both our surprised though it did not hurt when we removed it nor did it really hurt the skin. While the strip was on we both felt a cooling sensation on our noses, presumably the strips going to work, but it was nothing too intense or overwhelming. When they were peeled off you could instantly tell just how many black heads you have by the amount stuck to the strips. It's enlightening yet gross to see just how much crud and crap was / is / will continue to clog your pores. After the strip was removed there was a little black left over substance from the strips. We rinsed our noses off and could instantly feel how smooth and lovely our noses felt. This thing works incredible and I will certainly be buying more in the future! ... show more

Does remove some gunk from the nose which is great. However, nothing like the videos where it removes deep pores. Good quality for the price. Would recommend steaming pores before use so the strips can grab on better. Also, be sure to use lots of water for the best stickiness!

I got these on a whim while buying toothbrushes. I'm a lady with a big honker so I bought the strips made for fellas. I also have rosacea and VERY picky skin. The pores on my nose often look less than attractive so I got these in hopes maybe they could be of some help. I can't use any of those acid peels or even most soaps because they will cause pain or allergic reaction. I also have dry peeling skin on my nose which is beyond frustrating. I wet one of these suckers and slapped it on. As it dried I gently swiped the sides of my nose to make sure it stuck. Took awhile to dry but it finally did and the results after SLOWLY & GENTLY peeling it off from left to right were pretty nice. I don't have any itchiness, bruising or black stuff left on my nose like other people mentioned but everyone's skin is different. If you have a big honker with all kinds of skin issues maybe these can make a small difference for you. ... show more
