The pictures I’m providing are an example of when you don’t get a refill replacement in time so learn from my mistake! We live out in the country and without a water softener. When I look back at the difference between these two photos I am SHOCKED. Hair is air dried in both. Before I let myself get to the state in first picture, I was reaping the benefits of the filter, but again, my silly self was baffled at how my skin/hair was getting THAT bad and realized “Oh my god, we haven’t gotten a replacement for our water filter in over a year” So let this be a testimony that this filter WORKS and works WELL and for apparently for AWHILE (note that it depends on how hard your water is for how often you need to get a filter replacement). I was feeling sticky in and out of the shower, and very obviously my hair was getting ruined. The second picture is the first shower I took after inserting a replacement. Skin felt IMMEDIATELY better, hair dried like a dream. I’m not one to normally have such skin/hair problems so that also goes to show the havoc hard water can wreak on your body. This shower filter is WORTH it. It’s easy to install, easy to replace the filter, and will make your showers 1000% better. Just remember to keep up on the replacements (OOPS) ... show more

After the first shower, I noticed my skin was softer, and the itching was gone. My hair has now become much softer, and I only lose a few strands of hair versus the wad of hair. I would lose every time I washed my hair. My skin is clearing up, and the shower area stays clean a lot longer without all that hard water and calcium that I was dealing with… very easy to install. You definitely notice a difference in water quality. No issues with Installation and there’s no leaks so I’m happy about that. The Metal housing is nice but I’m not sure how long it will last before it starts to rust First shower having the filter paired with an African net sponge, and my skin feels amazing. Says that it lasts up to 6 months so we’ll see how it goes! ... show more

Our water is very hard in Malibu and we’re not in an autonomous situation where we’re able to have Culligan tanks for our personal water softening. I noticed that when I travel, my hair color and texture is great…at home, it’s affected by minerals in the water. This is a simple, efficient, and easy fix. It’s not Culligan but it’s far better than nothing. The size adds a few inches of proximity between the shower head and our heads, so that might be an issue for taller people. The pressure is completely unchanged. After two shampoos, I see a difference in both the brightness of my highlighted hair and the texture…I look forward to my next shampoo. I will get a back up cartridge filter as I think this is the beginning of a long-term relationship! ... show more

The filter was really easy to install. Was able to set it up within 5 minutes. My first shower after installing I noticed an immediate difference in the feeling of the water. I know that sounds strange but my water felt softer somehow. My skin & hair also felt smoother & softer. Once my hair dries it’s flows & silky smooth & I can go even longer between washes because it feels like less gunk and buildup are coming from my shower. I literally never leave reviews. This is my first and I felt it so necessary to share since I’m very diligent about limiting the chemicals my kids and I come into contact with. So this is a long read, but my honest experience. I’ve always had issues with my skin & hair. Really dry skin, with break outs from my scalp down to my legs. Seeing a dermatologist, using certain shampoos, body washes didn’t help. I hated going anywhere embarrassed of how I looked! Last month I went on vacation to the fl keys for a week. While there my skin started clearing up, my hair started looking so healthy..and I was using the same shampoo, body wash that I used at home. People back at home were commenting on our vacation photos on how great my skin looked, my husband noticed the change as well. After getting back home..by my 2nd shower my entire body was breaking out worse than it had in a long time. All these years it was the water doing this. I ordered this at the beginning of this month. The day of delivery I hooked it up and day after day my skin has healed, cleared up. My hair is looking good again. It definitely works! I wish I had bought this years ago. You have to keep up with your filter exchange date. It says to change out every 30 days..I was on day 23 and started noticing my skin getting irritated so I swapped it out. The item arrives in a very protected box. Everything you need is in the box eztra O rings, extra screen filter O rings, plumbers tape all you need is to set it up. Before I put the filter on I did clean and scrape off any old sediment and tape from the connections. Attaching the unit to the pipes was simple. The showers since 10.9.2024 💘 it. My skin is does not feel grimly from the CALI water letting me know this filter system works great. I have already been telling friends, family and associates. ... show more
