After unboxing I realized some of the finish on the shower head was damaged. Inside the filter housing the finish was completely missing/worn in one area, which makes me think the item was possibly used .

The first shower head we received was used. I chose to exchange for a new filter and sent it back immediately. There were issues getting a new one sent and I had to contact customer service twice before getting a new one sent. We finally got our new filter (weeks later) and used it for about 2 months before leaving this review. The new filter we received has great water pressure. I do not feel any difference in the hardness of water from our regular shower head before, especially in comparison to my sons bath water filter which is great and filters into very soft water. I’m not sure if we received a defective filter for our second try because the reviews seem to be good. Because the water softness was my priority and reason for purchasing, I will not purchase again (also someone else said in a review that filters are not even available for purchase). ... show more
