If you put it next to your bed, your girlfriend or wife will definitely like it. She'll think you are James Bond :) The safe drawer is padded as not to scratch your precious items or expensive shiny guns, especially if you had them gold-plated and diamond studded ;) You can even use it store love notes or other important items, like jewlery. It is a really cool safe for just about anything, including keys and cell phones. It is rather heavy and very hefty. You can put it in your gym locker to add additional protection for your phone, keys, dongles while looking super cool. You can also secure it to your car seat or anything, like a pole, with the provided "chain". The possibilities are endless. It's cool it has a built-in light. If an intruder comes at night, the fingerprint sensor will unlock you safe immediately (it works flawlessly) and the light will illuminate the inside. Super important if you live in Europe and store knives inside. You definitely need the light so you grab it the right way when half-asleep should an intruder wake you up in the middle of the night. Just run your fingers over the top in the dark, and the keys and the fingerprint sensors automatically illuminate. The clock, temperature and the humidity meters are well calibrated and accurate. Very accurate. I have tested them against calibrated sensors. Temp reads +/- 0.5 degrees from the actual. The humidity reads 1 - 3% higher than actual. Still great enough for a humidor. The company is awesome. Responds fast. Communicates amicably and professionally. Rigorous checks were done when I had to replace my secure safe key. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Notes: the pin/fingerprint set button is recessed under the keypad, under the key 3. It is placed so sneakily it was hard to find. This information will help you. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The unit was packed securely and was undamaged. Substantial describes the feel of the unit, heavy without being too heavy. The setup was easy to do and the screen was clear and bright. I did not find it to be too bright and if needed, you can just have it time out until you press a key. The fingerprints were stored on first attempt (watch video for example). The key worked easily as a great backup. I installed batteries and used the provided power adapter, additionally I used the USB ports on back to test and found no issues. The beeps are easy to turn off for quieter entry. I don't typically use wireless charging I did set my cell on the pad (LG V60) and charging began immediately. Charging from 94% to full took 18 min. In summary, I found the setup easy by reading the manual first then setting up. The screen is clear and readable (nice touch with temp and humidity). While the unit only uses the 24hour clock I am a vet and all my clocks are set as such. Opening is fast and the unit is lined nicely to protect items stored inside. The interior light is just right and the space is perfect for my full sized handgun and 2 magazines. All in all a great bedside gun safe, but would store anything that fits safely. Gave to my son for Christmas & he really likes it. Nice substantial construction, easy to follow directions and ample room for storage of valuables or firearm. And a great way to keep a cellphone charger on top and handy beside the bed! I would recommend one change.. it would be great if they would change the clock. At the bedside it would be much more practical to have a 12 hr. Cock instead of 24hr. time. Otherwise, excellent! ... show more

100% garbage product. Purchased first one and it was defective. The wireless charger did not work. Contacted company and had a new one sent in replacement. The replacement worked some for about two months. Then not only did wireless charging not work, the keypad stopped working and the biometric would only recognize fingerprint 1/10 times. Called Amazon and the seller is going to charge me 35$ for a restocking fee. They sell a junk product. Because this replacement safe limped along for a month longer than the return time before it completely failed. I get to pay $35. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! My wife and I both got one for our nightstands. Overall I feel like it’s a well made night stand safe. The finger scanner seems to work pretty well compared to others I’ve used in the past and easy to set up. The phone charger on top works well. They have a battery backup and a key in case you need to use it if the power goes out. The light inside the safe is also really nice. The cons that I have found with it: A minor inconvenience is it’ll only let you set up time in the 24 hour time aka military time. The biggest issue I have is that the display is way too bright to the point where I have to turn it away when I sleep. I have not seen anywhere in the manual to be able to dim it. There is a function where it turns off the display and you can touch the screen to display it temporarily but this function doesn’t work well. Would be really nice if there was a way to just dim it a bit. Overall I am happy with the quality and functionality of it. ... show more

The charger on top is a nice feature only issue I had with my phone was it got hot and stopped charging once. But honestly thats not why I bought this.
