The metal frame is strong enough but i didnt like that the side arms are two separate pieces instead of just one straight beam. This design weakens the joint. The metal bracket with plastic spacer needs improvement as well. I bought the nonfolding 200 lbs capacity rack for my 2 50-lbs emtb and i think it's a good fit. I wouldnt put 200 lbs on that rack though... ... show more

This was easy to assemble and is a nice and sturdy rack at a great price. I used the straps that came with it that secure the bike wheels to the rack a few times and found them difficult to thread through the clasps. Now I'm using bungee cords instead and find them much easier and faster to work with. I also found it a little difficult to raise and lower the hooks on the frame that hold the bike frame in place on the rack. So I added a little bit of grease to the frame and now they slide very easily and make them easier to move up and down to ease the removal of the bike as well as moving them down again to secure it. Packaging was professional and in good condition. All parts were enclosed. Took about an hour to put together and install. Easy loading 2 bikes. Drove on rough roads and on hiway at 75. No problems. The instructions are poorly written and designed. The rack itself is well designed and constructed I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a carrier for their bicycles

    • Good bike rack
Fits medium to large bikes. It won’t fit my son’s 18” bike. Not an issue as I just use it for storage of them but if I were to use it for travel it would be an issue

    • Not well built
Size: Foldable 2-Bike Rack-120LBS
Setup and installation was simple and straight forward. Within a week however the rack is already permanently sagging from a single bike that is less than half the advertised capacity. The horizontal arms that support the bikes are bent by their weight, and the main beam that comes out of the hitch is starting to bend as well. The straps that holds the wheels in place come loose and break while taking short trips on smoothly paved roads. The bolts used to secure sliding parts strip out easily and should immediately be replaced with higher grade stainless steel. Again I’ve had the rack less than two weeks, Anna I already wouldn’t trust it with less than half its advertised capacity. I’ll be looking for a replacement for it immediately. If your bikes are in the 25lb range this may be able to handle two of them, but I imagine you’ll need to replace it within a couple of years due to the brittle plastics, and the low grade metal used in the fasteners. If you value your bike I recommend spending more money on something from a known brand. Also. Customer support from the manufacturer is nonexistent. I’ll be eating the full cost of the rack. ... show more

I set up the bike rack over the weekend with positive results. You first need to assemble the rack taking about 10 minutes. Next I installed it on my hitch and headed to the park with my bike on the rack along with my wife’s. There was a very slight wobble on the rack but nothing concerning me while driving. I’ll make sure to add the stability brace next weekend to make sure the rack stays in place without wobble. This thing is a tank and made out of heavy metal.
