I bought the BidetMate 1000R (with the remote) back in 2020. It was fairly easy to install (even for people like me who are timid of plumbing) and has worked great. Saves a lot of money on toilet paper and personal wipes. This particular model has a lot of nice features like heated water, heated seat and air dry. And the settings for position/temperature/water force etc. are simple to adjust to your personal preference. When I recently moved to a new home, I took my BidetMate with me. But unfortunately the water supply line somehow got damaged in the move, and would not form a leak-free seal any more. I contacted the company to ask about a replacement. They covered it under their generous 3-year warranty, and sent me a new one. So I was "back in the saddle" in no time. Bidets are still not so common in the U.S., but once you've used one, you will see why they are so popular in other countries. But I think the U.S. is starting to catch on. I have been debating for a while to get one of these. Due to the short panic over the protests at the docks, I finally jumped because I am tired of people panicking over items that are made in the US. Stuff we are not going to run out of and it always ends up being around the time I need to buy toilet paper. Its been about a week since we installed it and we love it. We use far less toilet paper than before, which will pay for itself in the long run. I feels better to know regions can be "washed" more so than just smeared. Mostly love this bidet. The downsides are, the spray power can’t be turned down enough for a wider more gentle wash as I would like, and since we installed it, the pipes make a godawful, high pitched squeal every time the toilet is flushed. We are still trying to get that to stop. Other than that, it has worked well since we installed it. The settings were a bit confusing at first, but we quickly figured them out. There are enough settings to pretty much configure it for the experience you want, except for the point mentioned above. Winter is coming and I know I will appreciate the heated seat. It is a bit too warm on the highest setting, but it can be turned down to a quite comfortable level. The heated water is nice, and also configurable, although you do get a quick splash of cool water at first. I know the bidet is a hit because that has become the preferred bathroom. We do have an outlet behind the toilet, as the bathroom was built with the plan of installing a bidet. Power is a must. The instructions are digital and way too small to read on a phone. A tablet or computer is absolutely necessary. However, the install was quite easy. For the price point, this was a good purchase. (If there was one thing I wish this bidet had, it would be a nightlight.) I would buy another one if we could just get the squealing to stop. ... show more

If you want to feel pampered and shiny, then this is your seat!Great packaging and delivered on time. Was a little surprised to find out that I needed to install a plug near the toilet. Description did not mention a plug, but was lucky to have a handy friend. Seat said it comes with everything needed for DIY install, but be prepared to purchase an outlet if you don't have one near your toilet, as well as a flexible hose to fit under the T-hose fitting. Most regular hoses are stiff, uncuttable, and too long to fit naturally under the set up. The instructions could use a bit more details for the untrained DIYer. After you get through all of that, the seat is amazing. Everything as promised... Except for the night light. No night light any where on it. However, I didn't get it for that . In the end, is was so worth the effort to install it. Aside from being eco-friendly, it gives me great piece of mind because of being so young and having spinal issues and fibromyalsia. It's hard to twist and reach any more, which makes it hard to truly feel clean. In addition, the pain meds cause horrible constipation or diarrhea. This seat was a gift of pure relief to me. The power wash really helps with the constipation. Then the different wash settings and ability to easily position everything to get yourself totally clean and then dry without twisting and being in pain was truly amazing. It allowed me to feel like I had control over my own care. I wasn't worried that in the future I'd need someone to come in and help me. Very bulky, takes your elongated seat to a small seat. Problematic if you’re a large person or overly blessed. It’s got a slight slope forward. Looks like a handicap seat. Pressure at its highest not strong enough. I have a cheap one and it does a better job cleaning. If that stuff doesn’t bother you then not a bad seat, lots of other nice features. We love this! Purchased in July 2022, going strong still. But my toddler kept standing on it to reach the sink and it ended up snapping the lid off. Now I have a toilet with no lid which sucks. Do they sell replacement lids?
