Sorry I didn’t grab a photo but the food was too good. We used them when smoking some pork butts and they were very accurate compared to the others we own. Definitely will be purchasing more a Christmas gifts.

My husband is currently obsessed with grilling, and I thought I would get him this and hope that it helped him out. The shipping was lighting fast, and he was able to use the thermometer immediately. The Bluetooth is very convenient and the app that you use with it was easy to download and use. He cooked a brisket for Memorial Day and the batteries lasted great during the nine-hour cook. The only complaint he had was that he wished the range was longer because 12-20ft sounds like a good range until you walk away. There were several times that he lost connectivity due to this fact, which was a little frustrating. Overall, I would say it’s worth it as far as price point because you can’t put a price on convenience. My husband is happy and so am I. ... show more

This is the first wireless meat thermometer I've purchased. I've previously only used the pen style thermometers that you have to stick in the meat and read it directly from the pen. It's a great thermometer, but when you're cooking steaks, the oil will bubble and pop and burn you. These thermometer probes, you stick them in the meat and can leave them there. As long as you have the base, you'll be able to get a reading. The biggest selling point in my opinion is the accompanying app. You could leave the base in the kitchen and walk around your house and when your meat is done, it will start beeping your phone. Used it to make salmon last night and was able to cook it to perfection. In the app you can select the type of meat you're making and it'll automatically select the right temperature, so there's no guesswork as to what the right temperature should be. ... show more

The unit comes in Celsius. You have to use the app to change and set temp thresholds. May be something someone will whine about, but the app allows me to be 100 feet away chatting with people at the gathering without worrying about temps of my food thats cooking.. This was my first wireless thermometer. I wasn't sure what to expect. But very accurate and instantaneous readings. I have used it for burgers, chicken, and steak. Love it.

    • will not work
After charging, I placed both probes into the meat I was going to grill. both probes were inserted to the recommended limit and turned on the hand held display. I had to put the display on the grill to get it to pick up the probes. If I moved it more than 1 foot from the probes, it lost connection to them. Then comparing the temp with a wired probe, I found this new probe gave wrong temp and kept changing. I pulled the probes out , cleaned them off and recharged again. Next time I used it it would not connect at all. Not worth anything would not recommend. If there was a ZERO on this start scale, it would be less than that. ... show more

When it works it's great. I love that I can just stick something into the meat and put it in the oven without having to put much thought into it until it alerts me at the right temperature. however, half the time one of them doesn't work. Currently, the black one does not display anything when inserted and the white one does but at certain times it switches around. I did read the instructions and it does state to put the display as close as possible to the oven and I've done that with no change in my results. So, I've been combating this by just inserting both of them into whatever I'm cooking and at least one of them will show up consistently. I'm going to put it down to 4 stars because when it does work it's great and it gives me peace of mind. Whatever I'm cooking always turns out well too since I'm not overcooking or drying it out so it's definitely worth it but I just wish that it wouldn't have a problem displaying my temperature on the probes. I recommend it only because it's been a game changer for me. I have anxiety when it comes to putting anything in the oven and this has helped me relax a little. ... show more

I like it, it works well.... But the app is a little clunky, not very easy to use. If it was refined a bit more it would be perfect. Still a good buy, good value for the money. I would buy it again.
