  • Good quality rc car
We got this truck on my son's birthday. It well made and my son was happy to play with it. The remote control has an adjustable knob to adjust speed. It is very nice because on the slow speed you can play with the car even inside a house. The fast speed is only for outdoor use. On the third day the car had some technical issue with front wheels, but Tanya from the support team helped us to figured out what happened and how to fix this problem. Now the truck is working great and we are thinking to buy another one later. The only thing I don't really like is a plastic shell that can crack if you hit it to hard. But they put a spare cover shell in a box! Despite a technical problem, the car is great and my son loves it. Also, there are a lot of spare parts on the market to keep it running as long as possible or even for some modifications. The Bezgar support is great and I recommend their products for everybody! ... show more

  • Great entry level car for driveway and parking lot fun.
I ordered this car after getting two smaller bezgar cars for my boys. This one did not disappoint! It has a lot of power and it is pretty fast. Battery life is about 20 minutes of solid driving. I took this truck to an rc track and it did pretty good all things considered. I raced 3 heat races and a main event. Each race was 5 minutes, I used one battery for two races and it performed well. It could use a little more spring stiffness on big jumps but that is the only flaw it has. I had an issue with the esc at first but bezgar customer service was great and they shipped a replacement part quickly and at no extra charge. Please note, the three bezgar trucks we have are tough! My boys hammer on them and we race and jump curbs a lot. These things hold up really well. ... show more

  • A Lot of Fun At An Affordable Price
I need to start this review off by saying that I am in no way an RC car subject matter expert. I used to have Tyco RC cars when I was a kid some 25ish years ago. So when this popped up on Vine for review, I couldn't click fast enough. I'd always been intrigued by "grown-up" RC cars, but not so much the price tag that came with them. Although I probably would pay the ~$100 that this one seems to sell for. Anyway... This thing is really cool - again, coming from my mid- to late-90s experience with Tycos. Its top speed is intimidating at first, but luckily there's a governor knob to help rein that in a bit until you get used to the controls and capabilities of the car. On a full charge, it really gets moving! After a few minutes though, it's obvious that the top speed goes down as the battery voltage starts to drop. But it doesn't get unusably slow until very close to full depletion, which is nice. The fact that it comes with two batteries AND two charging cables is really nice because you can top both up at the same time and have nearly an hour of continuous use, although you will have to supply your own USB charging source. As for driving - well, I live in a typical Central NJ suburban neighborhood with asphalt-paved streets, Belgian-block curbs and concrete sidewalks. This is the only place I've used it, so other than having it tromp through my grass, I can't speak much for it's off-road capabilities - although I doubt there really are any to begin with. That said, there's still plenty of fun to be had driving off curbs and over the "ramps" provided by driveway aprons. I also have terrible depth perception and misjudged my approaches plenty of times resulting in head on collisions with the curb - so far this thing has kept right on trucking. I also drove it through water left behind by my lawn sprinklers to test how water-resistant it is and there were no issues. Water definitely splashed up inside, too. So the point of all this - the car will do absolutely fine in a typical use case scenario. Now, when it comes to the aesthetics of the thing - this is where I dropped it a star. I find the remote control to be subpar. Personally, I would prefer the type with two joysticks instead of a trigger and wheel like this one. But even that aside, the remote feels like an afterthought. Cheap knobs for the speed and steering adjustments, a very off-the-shelf and boring power switch, foam rubber on the steering wheel that is definitely going to break down with extended use and even the trigger feels a bit flimsy. It just is cheap feeling in comparison to the car itself. But, it works and the range is very good. I easily drove 100 yards away with no signal issues and only turned around because I could barely see the car at that point. The car itself is pretty solid. It's a nice bonus that you get two body covers to suit different styles, and also as a spare in case you wreck the first one. The clips that hold everything on don't instill much confidence, but this could be the norm in hobby-class RC cars for all I know. On the same note, I find it absolutely annoying that you have to take the body cover off to access the battery and power switch. Again, this could be my lack of experience in this arena, but I recall my Tyco cars having a secured battery compartment and recessed power switch underneath that never gave me a problem. It's minor overall, but I just think this is a recipe for things to break and clips to get lost when disassembling the car, basically, every time you're doing a battery swap. Overall, for what this thing costs I think it's a great RC car for big kids and adults too. Longevity is yet to be determined, but for the cost of entry it's worth it. I'm sure there are better models out there, but I think this is the perfect option to get your feet wet and see if this is a hobby for you. It's also just a really fun toy to have! ... show more

  • Good product and excellent customer service
I bought this rc car for my son and we enjoyed it a lot. The car is big (photo), beautiful. It is also fast, very reactive, able to run on the road, on rocks, on sand... However, after so much fun, we had an issue with the servo so I called the customer service (Tanya) and I have to say that's one of the customer service I've ever had. Tanya was very kind, very helpful, always trying to find the best solution. And she succeed because now my son can play again with the car. ... show more

  • This is great, if you don’t want it to last more than a couple weeks
Purchased this as a CyberMonday sale for Christmas 2021 gift for my 16yr daughter as an entry-level RC car to see if she liked it. While it is several steps above any “Wal-Mart” RC toy, it has only lasted until January 4th 2022 before the servo for the steering stopped functioning properly. This is not the first RC toy in the house, Traxxas is the first choice, but only if there is shown real interest, so having stated that, we know about upgrades, have a friend that owns an RC shop, who said the parts are less than junk sometimes, that they are proprietary to the manufacture, can only use that company’s parts for upgrades YOU CAN NOT USE TRAXXAS PARTS for this toy in case you were wondering, now you know Traxxas is NOT an option for upgrades here. The list price of around $150 or so is completely obscene in my opinion for the product you were saying If you want an RC Car/Truck that might arrive D.O.A. or only works properly for a week or two have a go with this one. I will start the return process after we get back in town from our hunting trip, I just felt like as a consumer you should be informed that this one might be a good one to pass on! Having stated that I will admit that I will give them the option to send a full replacement for this and would update as needed after that happens, until then I’m incredibly disappointed with this product. ... show more
