These swing swivel brackets are made very well. I bought the kit with eight in it and all arrived in great condition. The he install was very easy as well. Heavy duty brackets with large lag screws to keep firmly attached. I chose to add a little wood glue when I installed the lag screws. I woud definitely recommend. ... show more

These hangers are beefy to the max. Very heavy castings and excellent hardware provided. My only issue with the installation is that the stick-on templates provided (a nice touch) have the drilling marks off enough to make a difference. I will not use the templates. I will do it the old fashioned way by identifying the spot I want each hanger and then marking each pilot hole by hand. I'll drill the first hole, drive in the first lag screw (very beefy too) most of the way in, and then either just drill the second using the hanger as the template or mark the hole with a pencil and then drilling the second hole. The templates have the holes too close together by just a little. But the little would make the driving of both bolts harder. A bit of a nit for some but the templates also introduce other ways to mis-drill the holes. Either way, the hangers will do the job intended. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These were delivered on April 28th and after 7 days of use they started squeaking. I built my own wooden swing set and it is a little over 9 feet tall… so greasing all of the them will be a little tricky. But I’m hoping that will fix the squeak and last through summer. But we’ll see. They are heavy duty, so I still recommend regardless of the squeaking! ... show more

Priced right, shipped quickly. These are very sturdy and the swinging part moves smoothly. I elected to use my own 3/8 x 8" galvanized carriage bolts, washers and nuts for attaching to our swing set.

Never hang your porch swing from single "eye" screws. They will eventually fail and could cause injury. Instead, use these bolts, they are perfect for the job. They have two bolts securing a heavy-duty plate to the beam on our porch, and the center 'loop' moves back and forth for the swing. My husband assured me that they will never come loose. I believe it, because they are really heavy-duty and secure. I have confidence in their holding-safety. They are not "too much" for a porch swing. Better to overdo the strength than to trust something less sturdy/strong. Be prepared to drill holes for the large screws, and to work a bit to get the screws into the wood/beam. Possibly our wood was just really hard. But that's the only thing about installation is the muscle power getting the screws in place. And they will hold! ... show more
