The media could not be loaded. When we received this from the carrier it was on a double pallet and I thought what have I gotten myself into. Well it was a lot of fun work that took me a few days but worth every minute spent on it. Luckily it comes with a very detailed instruction manual or should I say instruction book. I would highly recommend reading completely through it before you begin, you will be glad you did. Then just go one page at a time. DO NOT SKIP AHEAD. You might be overwhelmed by all the hardware. I suggest to sort it all out on a table before you start. I marked each bag of screws as to their length. Unfortunately the length is no labeled on the bags. Take a minute to measure the screws, nuts and bolts AHEAD of time. I hope you have an electric screw gun, don't even try and do it without one. The finished product will delight your children or grandchildren. The smiles on their faces was worth all the hard work and expense. ... show more

Overall, we are happy with this playground. There are a few short comings, that I've emailed the seller about...but got no reply. First the criticisms. 1) several pieces were cosmetically damaged in shipping (finish scaped off, swing beam and swing leg has a few gouges in it). I've emailed asking for touch up stain and...no reply. 2) a few boards were damaged before being shipped (tongues on roof boards partially broken/missing but then stained and shipped) and one of the swing legs has a split running the length of the leg (I lagged across this split so hopefully it doesn't open further). 3) the windows were not included in my kit. There was a note saying they are backordered and would be shipped later. (I email for an update and got no reply...its been more than 6 weeks). Now the positives. My kids love it. The swings are good quality and at thier current weights (3 and 5 years old), it doesn't rock too much when the are swinging hard. The climbing wall is sturdy and a challenge for the 3 yo, but not the 5 yo. Once the windows arrive, I expect they will use the play-deck for more imaginative play. Overall I'm happy with this set. It took about 12-14 hours to assemble (99% of it solo). If the seller responds to my inquiries on the touch up stain and missing windows, I'll be happier. ... show more

Loved how all the pieces were clearly marked and sorted on the pallet when delivered. It took two days to assemble (approx 10-12 hrs). Definitely need to follow the instructions as they are printed. Very sturdy and braced. Grandkids love the set!

1..... The instructions are done in such a detailed and professional way as to give you complete confidence in their accuracy, but have counterintuitive flaws that are very important every few pages. You can work around it if you read well ahead and have a good mind for engineering. 2.....the fine print contains so many work arounds on product defects that it basically negates any kind of intention of standing behind their product or durability. 3.....There are many small defects/ warps. There are splits/cracks in the wood on arrival. The wood is lightweight, weak and easily cracks under moderate tightening. There are missing screws and hardware needed to assemble. I'm sure that they are available for replacement after a lengthy communication with the company, but the shawdy nature of the kit and the legalise of the fine print doess not inspire confidence in any resolution. It is overpriced and underdesigned. I am happy to have it during Covid, but not ecstatic. 4....this is just a preference, but i prefer philip head screws over these square top screws...save time and buy your own screws, at least over 1.5 inches in length... ... show more

    • TOO MANY PARTS MISSING. Poor customer service Policies fromManufacturer and Amazon.
We received our set With lots of important Construction parts missing. AMAZON told us to contact The Manufacturer and we Did and they did t Call us back. We called Amazon and Amazon told us to return the we already invested a lot Of many in labor to a handyman. It’s impossible to return this item after you’ve been putti g it together. It must weight about 500 pounds. I am still missing the missing Parts. It is very distasteful that neither Amazon nor Gorilla Playsets consider this situation worth an adjustment in Price due to their negligence. ... show more
