Fantastic shade. Honestly considering purchasing another one for the opposite half of the pool for dual shading. It works very well - better than expected. The shade it provides keeps that part of the pool cool. And it's large enough to cover a good area. It has withstood monsoon winds and other weather as long as the mesh window is open for airflow. It is very sturdy. Fantastic value for the cost. Wasn't the most fun to set up, and it was a bit of a pain to take down (for pool maintenance), but otherwise I can't really complain about that. This would have been an awesome cover if there was a way to secure it to the pool better. A little wind blew it right off the pool. Made sure to have my husband tighten the screws this time and it did it again. Blew right off. Not really that strong of a wind either. Not an item I’d recommend.

This is the 4th Canopy of this type that I have purchased. I totally love the design. It's easy to set up and generally is able to withstand strong wind and storms through a single summer. They have sometimes collapsed but have not been damaged beyond use. However, the cloth that they are made out of seems to get degraded by the sun over the course of a single season to the point that it eventually rips uncontolably and can't be effectively repaired. ... show more

I've had it for a few weeks now and it's still going strong. No issues at all. No tears or rips. He hasn't bent or broke. I love it. I have shade on hot sunny Georgia days! Update: it lasted the entire summer with no issues. Survived all the pop up storms. When I closed the pool, I took the canopy down and my long nails poked a hole in the fabric. It did work for our pool but only for a short time . I live in Az. The sun is brutal in the summer . A little over a month the sunscreen began to tear. Dry rot . Would not recommend for Arizona or any place that has temps over 105 daily.

It worked for a while but rain with some wind came through and it came off the pool. Refastening the cover wasn’t the easiest and it never worked properly after. I definitely wouldn’t recommend using it again.

I’ve now bought two of these. I learned my lesson last year when I forgot to take it down during a monsoon thunderstorm. It’s simple enough to put together and install, but you will really want two people for installation and and also for removing it if there is a storm. Once you have it installed, removing it and then reinstalling it is a very quick process if you have two people. I have also done it solo but it’s complicated. ... show more
