This pool set comes with a 2100 GPH Sand Filter Pump, capable of circulating and filtering the water efficiently. Regular maintenance includes backwashing and rinsing the filter as necessary, while sand in the pump should typically be replaced every 5 years.

The pool is designed with SuperTough laminated PVC sidewalls, making it highly puncture resistant. This layering technique, coupled with a robust metal frame that is rust resistant, contributes to the overall durability of the pool.

  • Beats $10,000 for “real” above ground pool
Size: 26' x 52"
This is our 3rd Intex pool. Started with the “bubble”, then had 15’ metal frame, now this 26’ ultra frame. This is a HUGE pool! The box that it came in was delivered by freight truck (400+lbs). Trucking company dropped it at the end of our driveway, thank goodness we have a tractor so we were able to move it, but something to keep in mind. We were already familiar with setup from our other pool so it was fairly straightforward. The most difficult part of assembly was getting the final piece of top rail locked in. Please do not believe the listing when it says “ready in hour”. It will take you days unless you have a crew, and even then at least a day before you even start adding water. My husband and I did it ourselves. I’m going to give you some tips to help with installation, but the number one tip is find the You Tube video from Pawpaws Place. It’s about an hour long and he takes you from beginning to end. Follow every step and you will be good! Helpful hints: 1. Level, level, level. Make sure your site is almost perfectly level. Any deviation will skew how the water sits in the pool. You have about 1” that you can be off. Any more and it won’t be good. 2. Get liner as wrinkle free as you can before you put on legs, this will make it easier for you later when you start adding water to get the rest of the wrinkles out. 3. If you’re planning to leave up year round, put something under each leg. Pawpaw recommends 12x12x1” blocks, but to be honest, that’s way more digging than we wanted to do. I ended up going to a metal fab shop and have them make 8x8x1/4” plates (26). I think they’ll hold well. 4. This does not come with a backwash hose. Purchased backwash hose and clamp from Lowe’s and we had to buy some PVC fittings to make it work. 5. They don’t come with a skimmer basket anymore. Highly recommend purchasing one to get the surface crud. 6. The supplied ground cloth is pretty thin. We had some geo textile cloth that we put under the ground cloth for added protection. 7. Use a level and keep checking legs both side to side and front to back as the water goes in. This is where the ground leveling comes into play. If your ground is not level, liner with push out on some legs, and cause others to move inward. Fill slowly and check, check, and recheck. We are on a well so I had to go slow with water -55 minutes twice a day. I checked leg level before each addition. Got pool filled to about 4,000 gal then had another 6,200 trucked in. We went around and around with level as water was going in and made adjustments. They will reach a point where you cannot move them anymore . All in all, I think it’s worth the time and money. Pool company wanted over $10,000 for metal walled pool and installation. I just couldn’t fork over that much. With pool, water, and misc. things, I’d guess we have about $2500 in it. The seller was great, I had a couple of questions and they responded immediately. Would definitely recommend if you don’t mind some hard work. Watch the video by Pawpaws Place! ... show more

  • Awesome pool!
Size: 24' x 52"
I cannot say enough good things about this pool! The pool came with everything, filter, hoses, winter cover, ladder. Not bad to assemble. We purchased a skimmer for the pool worked great. Easy to take care of better than our old pool. Our water was crystal clear a summer. Very heavy duty.

  • Looking forward to a hot summer for once
Size: 24' x 52"
We are so happy with our purchase so far. This pool is plenty big for our purposes and was well within our budget. It took more than 60 minutes to set it up but it wasn't terrible. There were four of us working. We are fortunate to have a flat concrete slab in the back yard that was just large enough for this pool so I can't comment on leveling dirt, etc. The concrete is pitted though so we bought an extra pad to put under it to make it a bit softer against any potential sharp edges. The sand filter is nice. We've used traditional filters in the past on a much smaller pool and this seems like it will be easier to maintain in the long run. Pros: big, assembly is doable, cost not prohibitive, if we ever get tired of it we can take it down. Cons: the ladder is steep and rickety. We built a deck and bought in-pool stairs to attach to it instead. Getting all of the wrinkles out of the liner before adding water is nearly impossible. Unknown: Durability - I've read some negatives about rust and leaks but it's too soon for me to know about that. I hope I'm not sorry. ... show more

  • Good Pool but had a couple issues! But would recommend this pool still.
Size: 26' x 52"
The media could not be loaded. This is a good pool for the money. Even with small leak. Don't be dissuaded because of the small leak. Just be ready and check as filling for signs of leakage. Overall was is great. Pros: Easy Set up, size, delivery, good pump and filter. Cons: Had a small leak on seam, trying to contact manufacturer or getting support is difficult, no suction side vacuum port, last top rail is a pain, didn't know I needed filter sand until afterwards. Setup: make sure you level the area good. I spent hours leveling because of size and was still off about 2" on one side. I left it because it wasn't bulging. Make sure to have two bags of pool sand filter ready prior to setup or go get while pool is filling. Make sure you start top rail at on point and work around in circular direction clockwise/ counterclockwise do not attach legs until top is complete . Last rail is a pain in the butt even while following the recommendation in directions. Just be patient. I caught the drip leak (video) early while filling and fortunately it was were I could get to it and put pvc glue on seam that sealed the leak. Returning item liked this would be a nightmare after hours of assembly just to disassemble. I would think a credit should be given for leak and couldn't get hold of anyone. Just a return but couldn't get support. Returning was out of the question. Maintenance: I have a pool cleaning service and had all chemicals on hand to treat pool. This made bringing pool chemistry easy for me. I would recommend keeping calcium between 160 to 200. Because you don't want vinyl to harden too much. I have well water low calcium. Mine is at 180. I have a high iron content in my well water. The pump and sand filter did great filtering it and I had to backwash a couple times. However, I don't like that it doesn't come with any kind of suction access for a hose vacuum to get sediment (picture 2) off the bottom. I had to order a battery cordless vacuum to hopefully get sediment off bottom. I cannot even net it with my microfiber net. These pools need and adapter to be able to hook a standard vacuum hose in order to vacuum using pump and filter. The pump and filter are surprisingly good, so far. I was impressed that it wasn't some cheesey pump and filter. It can be set time come on and run for selected number of hours up to 12 hours a day. Has internal clock to run at same time each day. Or can be set to run continuously. I'm excited to use this summer and this 26' is huge. I can swim short laps in it by myself, and is large enough to have several people in it. My family and friends will soon be invited for a BBQ. Make sure that you know the desired size for your area. I have a big yard so this was perfect. Even though a lot bigger than I thought and surprised by size and depth. ... show more
