Box came pretty smashed up as other reviewers have mentioned, but it IS a very long, heavy box. Some pieces were floating around inside and not very secure, but thankfully the only damage is the chip/gouge in the top piece. Annoying, but it's not worth dealing with returns/replacements over. As for the stand itself, I absolutely love it! Very easy to put together, the parts are labeled and packaged individually making organization a breeze. Very sturdy, plenty of room, and it looks amazing! Between this and the bookshelf, I can highly recommend Bestier products. Just hope that with the common complaints of damage, packing and shipping can be refined to avoid these issues on an otherwise smooth experience. ... show more

Caveat: I paid $199 for this so consider this a review of coffee tables in the $150-$450 range. When it comes to TV stands, you you consider price, design and quality, you only get two of the three. This is the case for this TV stand. Its not solid wood - it's a composite press board - but it's solid. As with any composite wood, you need to be really careful when shipping and assembling because the piece isn't nearly as strong in pieces as it is put together. It took my husband and I about 65 minutes to assemble, at a leisurely pace. It probably could have been done in about half the time but we haven't put together furniture in a while and we both follow instructions and double check each step religiously. It fits our new 70" TV well, and we are no longer pariahs on r/tvtoohigh. The black fronts do collect fingerprints, which is going to make me crazy, but the sliding doors remove very easily if you don't want them (the wheels sort of retract and you can just unclip with two flicks and pull the doors out). It does take two people to move and lift. The delivery guy threw it over his shoulder, but I wouldn't recommend that. My back hurts just watching him do that. Not super scratch resistant - I dropped my keys on it and left a nick - but the color difference between the exterior and interior wood is not so much as to make any scratches obvious. I would say this camoflauges any scratches very well. I'm interested in seeing how well the laminate finish holds up in a house of pickers (we generally regret anything with a finish that can be picked off). The feet are also very nice - high enough to allow a broom or Roomba, felt tips included to protect floors. For a laminated MDF TV stand, I would have easily paid twice as much for this quality if I could see it in person, but I probably wouldn't have pulled the trigger ... show more

This year I decided to search for furniture pieces to replace the old, and update a few rooms in our home. My biggest concern in shopping for furniture online was that it would be terrible quality for the price, missing parts or hardware, and difficult to assemble. Well finally I think I've found the media center that put those fears to rest completely! The instructions were pictures, but it went together pretty smoothly and intuitively. They even gave one extra of each hardware bit, which is something that more companies could stand to do *cough Ikea cough*. There was even a fully respectable mini screwdriver in the set -- talking about a REAL, sturdy little thing that's worth keeping, not just an allen wrench (although there was one of those, too). How cute is that? Everything came to me in perfect condition with no visible flaws, and the pre-drilled holes were done accurately so that everything aligned properly. It took me roughly an hour to do, but that is more because I wanted to be extra cautious and take my time; it really would take an experienced assembler about half that time. The resulting finished furniture does not have the feel or look of something that had to be put together at home. If you saw this in a store, you would be expecting to pay 3 or 4 times what it actually cost online. Overall, this furniture is practical and has a great, modern style.
