The directions say to wait 48 hours to allow for it to puff up to its fullest potential, honestly, it was good to go in about 4 hours. I just unpacked this foam matress topper and laid it out on my guest bed to expand. So far, it seems like it will be a nice edition to my guest room. It doesn't seem to be very heavy duty, but time will tell. Being that my guest bed is only used a handful of nights a year, it should be fine.

I got this for my mom’s recliner which she sleeps in. She has always used a foam pad to raise the height and make sleeping more comfortable. This split in half a few weeks after getting it situated on her chair. It s quite stiff for memory foam.
