I've been looking for good quality drapes that were available in longer lengths but would not cost hundreds of dollars. Never thought I'd find some that were also room darkening too. These have a very soft and heavy feel that makes them very elegant on my extra tall windows. They completely block all light from my west facing windows so we can enjoy our big screen TV without glare. When I want some sunlight to brighten the room then it's very easy to slide them open on the rod because of the grommets. The color I ordered is an olive green that coordinates wonderfully with my neutral decor. I actually ironed a small decorative ribbon at the top to match some of the throw pillows in the room. Really pretty color (Mauve) that is a pink/purple - feel nice and super easy to hang. But definitely not truly black out. Definitely light filtering and the room is dimmer but still lets in light. I bought Ikea Hilleborg that are the same price ($30) but are truly black out but they only come in gray ... show more

Fabric texture is smooth, tightly woven and matte. I ordered Dove color which turned out a little grayer than the picture but still fine. NOTE: there are two panels per package which is not clear from the description. I ordered two to cover a 100” sliding door. Bronze grommets a plus.

I'm very pleased with these curtains. The color is consistent throughout. The workmanship is excellent. All panels were consistent in size. They hang very nicely. I was very, very surprised they didn't have a lining for blackout curtains. So the color of the curtain in the back is the same as the front. And yet, they are dense and a blackout curtain. I don't know how they will wear with the sun hitting them on a daily basis, but right now, I like them. If I think about it, I'll write another review in a year and let you know how they've held up. ... show more
