First the "huh?" part: The front of the bottle says 1500mg per serving, but the fact panel on the other side says there is only 1000mg of berberine per 2 capsule serving. Even if you add up all the other ingredients, the number still does not equal 1500mg. I am going to give them the benefit of doubt on this and say it is a typo, since the fact panel also claims the 1000mg of berberine is an extract that is as potent as *15,000mg* which is one zero off of the number on the front. Easy mistake to make and miss, but this is something that needs to be accurate. Now the rest: This is a good blend of proven glucose and insulin aids. Berberine, ceylon cinnamon, turmeric and apple cider vinegar are all excellent supplements to help regulate insulin and blood glucose. The amounts per capsule are decent, and easy to calculate so you can tailor this supplement to your individual needs, taking only one per day for example, if that is the amount you prefer.     • The bottle is not sealed well at all
Like other reviewers, I noticed there is something "off" on the math used to add up the ingredients in each dose - they are about 98mg shy of 1500mg. Also, the only "seal" was the type that is in the lid and the bottle which was not in contact with the bottle, so it was not really sealed at all. There was no external shrink wrap seal on the bottle I received. The mix of ingredients listed on the label is very good and I did pop open a few of the capsules to see if what was inside resembled what the label said was supposed to be in there. The four I opened appeared to be full of the mix as indicated on the label and I definitely smelled hints of cinnamon and black pepper. ... show more

The actual nutrition label on the bottle states Berberine 1000 mg and Cinnamon 100 mg per serving, so 500 mg and 50 mg per capsule, respectively. Aside from the front of the bottle indicating 1500 mg, I think this is a good value. I like Berberine for blood glucose support, though individuals, especially diabetics, should definitely discuss with their own doctors prior to taking this. I’m not making any actual health claims, just describing my experience. I find this easy to swallow, no unpleasant side effects. It slightly suppresses my appetite. The seal on these is pretty minimal and should probably be redesigned. The manufacturing date was recent. The ingredients are fairly informed regarding the common blends for workouts, exercise, and muscle growth. I have been taking Berberine for quite some time and I decided to give this brand a try because I saw it contained other supplements in one capsule. I am glad I did.It is easy to swallow and really just as good as the brand I finished taking. I do find the Berberine is a mild appetite suppressant in my case because I always skip breakfast and only eat two meals. I do not feel hungry. I am not sure if it is all due to Berberine, but I am sure it has some type of effect. This is a good brand. I like the added cinnamon. If you want to start taking Berberine, start with the lowest dosage and then slowly build up, as you would with other supplements. ... show more

I’m not diabetic or even prediabetic but discovered that for some reason my blood sugar gets quite high while I sleep. I also suffer from insomnia, and at first I thought my lack of sleep was affecting my blood sugar, but it’s my blood sugar affecting my sleep! I would feel restless and just feel generally unwell. After researching what can lower blood sugar naturally I bought 4 or 5 different supplements and began testing. These 2 were the only ones that made any difference, and especially when used together. They keep my glucose well within normal range when I take them before bed and it makes a huge improvement to my sleep. This supplement puts these two powerhouses in one which is convenient.
