They look awesome, just like in the picture. I replaced my carpet on the steps with oak treads. I bought these because I have a dog and don't want her to slip (or myself for that matter). She took some time to adjust to the new steps and is still very cautious on the short pile. It is still a little slippery for her because it is so short. I will be trying to find a little softer carpet tread to replace. Also, I did need to buy double side carpet tape to secure to the steps, since they tended to slip a little. ... show more

Very good quality. Soft on your feet. It isn’t a sticky backing but it grips the wood steps very well with pressure. Dogs running up the steps do move them. Foot pressure keeps them in place. Easy to machine wash. I chose to drip try and not machine dry. I highly recommend this product.

These stair treads are very pretty and good quality. I did find however that I needed to put tape in the bottom because they would not stay in place it was no big deal and I am very satisfied with them now!

My dog has arthritis and has been having a hard time going up and down our wood stairs. After mulling around and looking at various websites and styles I landed on these. The color works nicely with steps. It is more on the yellow side than beige however I have a golden brown stain so it looks good with it. I initially purchased the red ones. I liked them however they did not look good on lighter wood. I'm pleased with the quality so far. Make sure you count your steps. I needed to extra so I had to buy 2 sets. I'm glad I did as I also had enough to do the front portion of the steps as well as the side staircase leading to the landing. My dog normally goes up the side one bec it leads to the kitchen. However he has been using both lately now that there is tread on them. My dad is older and stays with us a couple nights a week and loves them too. He has slipped down the stairs in socks previously feels more comfortable going up and down them. I recently severely twisted my ankle which led me to finally purchased the carpet treads. I am glad I got the treads as they make it a lot easier for me to go up and down the stairs. The backing is nice and for the most part stays put. I did buy double sided tape to affix to the steps but decided against it. They do occasionally slide when my dog goes down the steps or my cats get into some cat zoomies and antics. I can foresee when my son comes home that his heavy foot and running up the stairs may be a problem although it might slow him down and make him take a normal pace. Also some of the corners turn up on the corner edges and don't lay flat. I flipped them around. I am not sure it helped to lay it down however it looks better. Overall I am really please with this purchase and do recommend. I gave the 4 stairs bec life styles may require them to be taped in place and the corner edge little flip. I would still buy again if I needed more. ... show more

Good quality, looks really nice. I've had no issues with them moving at all and I don't use any additional adhesive products. Even a dog charging down the stairs hasn't made them move!

I liked them. We have a small baby not ready to sleep. He will wake up by little sound even when there is white noise on. And we have a dog how does not like to get her nails cut or grind. Finally we have wooden flooring. Combine three and you have super frustrated parent. We were looking into converting the stairs from hardwood to carpet for around 2K but stumbled on these and took a chance. The baby is not waking up any more while the dog is doing all up and down trips in that exact one hour, while he is asleep. We had to use carpet tape as both (the dog and baby) didn't let these stay.l, and I felt they are a bit slippery without it. ... show more
