I did a fair amount of research before I purchased this. Went and got a 8$ 2x4 and 6$ in some 2" lagbolts. Installed and setup in about 15-20 minutes. I then waylaid on the back with some tie kicks and punches and ended it with me swinging on the thing like Miley Cyrus. Worth the money. Stable. The actual mounting bracket seems strong, however, if you are planning to mount this on a wood framed wall… It will not work the way it is delivered. Wall studs are 16” apart and you can only mount one side of the bracket to a stud, requiring the other side to be mounted with drywall anchors. It would be nice if the manufacturer had the option to purchase a bracket that would reach two studs 16 inches apart. However, because it does not, you need to fabricate one yourself out of 2x4s. ... show more

Easy install.... Make sure at least one of your mounting sides drills all through 2×4 for maximum sturdiness. Rated 4 stars because it swivels just a tiny bit - You can *shimmy a piece of steel if it bothers you. I added a spring myself due to a heavier Warer bag ..... We really needed a good strong swing hinge. But the jib crane swing arms were really expensive! So we ordered this and with a little modification its exactly what we needed and 1/4 of the price. We swapped out the extension bar with a peice of metal racking, so ours is now a 4' long swing instead of the 2' it originally was. And even at double the length it's still solid. Bc the mounting holes in the bracket are so far apart you can't get them all in a stud in the wall. So we mounted a 8" board first to the stud then mounted the swing arm to the stud board.
