I debated whether or not to send this back. I'm 5'9", average build and usually wear a L. I opted for an XL for this item because I know overseas products can run small. Glad I did. The XL just barely fits, and even feels a bit too snug if I'm wearing a bulky sweater. So if in doubt, size up. I ordered the white, and it is definitely cream, not white. But the first day I wore it I got a compliment so that made me want to keep it (because yes, I'm shallow). It sheds ever so slightly. My cats shed WAY more than this coat ever will. It's very soft and surprisingly warm. I'm cold all the time, so having a warm jacket in Pennsylvania winters is important to me. Regarding fit, it's less than flattering in my opinion . Rather boxy, and cut awkwardly at mid-hip level (on me). The bottom edges just sort of end awkwardly, probably from being crammed in a plastic bag for goodness knows how long. As it 'settles' I'm hoping it lays nicer. If you're skinny, you'll look great in this jacket. If you're not skinny, maybe not so much (not judging at all, just giving you a head's up). I really liked this jacket and it was very well constructed. It was very heavy and warm, but not bulky. It was double lined everywhere, even the hood and pockets. It has the fluffy faux fur on the outside and the soft sherpa lining on the inside. The hood was double lined with the fur on the inside and the outside. The sleeves have a satin type material and the pockets are lined with a warm, soft fleece. The zipper is heavy duty and durable. This is a fitted jacket and curved at the waist so you shouldn't get it larger than your size. It should be fitted to the contours of your body and it looks much better on the body than it does when it's just hanging on a hanger. This jacket is not meant to be oversized or baggy because it just looks sloppy and messy and the material sags and creates ridges and creases. It's pretty true to size - maybe slightly larger. I'm 180lbs and 5' 3" and I got the large, which fits well. It's a little loose. In the pic, I'm wearing a thick fleece hoodie underneath it. The hood doesn't have drawstrings or anything, but it fits well and it does fit more securely when the jacket is zippered all the way up. The one thing that troubled me was that I originally got this jacket as a Prime Try Before You Buy, but when I received it, it looked all in disarray and didn't look new at all. It didn't have any tags and it was unzippered and just sloppily folded in a cheap cellophane bag that definitely look like the original product bag. When I removed it from the bag, the fur was all messy and distorted and going in every direction and some of the fur was missing by the seam of one of the pockets. I started to wonder if Amazon sends out the same products to different people when they do Prime Try Before You Buy, which was quite disturbing and disgusting to even fathom. I returned this because it definitely seemed used. I liked the jacket so I just bought a new one, hoping it would look much better and actually be new. When I received the second one, you could definitely tell that it wasnew because it was neatly folded in a vacuum suctioned bag, which was also in another thick plastic or silicone bag. When I removed it from the bag, the fur was nice and smooth and in one direction. It was zippered up and had tissue paper in between the folds and it had the tags on it. All-in-all, I really like this jacket, but not the Prime Try Before You Buy fiasco. This jacket is very warm, soft, comfortable and flattering. I also really love this color of pink. ... show more

The jacket is very soft and warm! The hood is a good size so if you are wearing a high bun or pony it will still cover your head. The torso of the jacket is very short if it was longer I would have given a full 5 star rating. The lining catches on thing easily and I’m afraid to wash in fear it will shrink even more and I’ll have to gift it to my daughter. This is a great price for something so soft, warm and comfy. I am a petite woman short and 125 pounds and although the small probably would have fit me, the medium is fine. I love the feel of it and with a sweater underneath, perfectly warm on a 25 minute walk in 40 degree weather. Thank you!!

I bought a large (usually wear SM or Med) & it is comfortably roomy/loose. It is so beautiful. The whole thing is lined with a type of satin, including the sleeves AND pockets. The ribbed cuffs are a little stretchy, not tight, just perfect. The hood is big & roomy. This jacket is a little heavy with the lining (which I like), not flimsy, cheap, thin fabric. It's incredibly soft, the color is true to the pix (pink). The bottom is slightly elastic. Excellent quality zipper. I don't particularly care for the super wide hanging hood tie thingy, but that's a very minor thing. Definitely worth the price. SO warm & cozy & comfy & soft. ... show more
