The dial for the toast setting has tactile clicks so you can dial it in just right (3.5 setting gives me nice brown crisp keto toast). The cage that holds the toast is wide and clamps the bread completely upright when the handle is pushed down, it also has about an inch and a half of “push up” to help grab your toast. The elements heat up quickly and it has a lighted release button to stop toasting. There are other buttons for gluten free, frozen, and bagel. This toaster is great- it toasts bread and bagels perfectly. Bagels are especially hard to toast well, but this toaster has a bagel setting that toasts them perfectly. I love this little toaster and for the price, you can’t beat it. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
