Easy to put together and very sturdy. No one likes the middle inner tier, so both cats (for a total of almost 20 lbs) like to hang out on the top tier at the same time. This two story cat house is really worth it. I have two 12 week old kittens who have lots of other places to sleep but chose this as soon as I set it up. It is super soft and the little holes that they can peak out of provide lots of fun for them all day (and night). There is a scratching post part of the wall which they adapted to easily and quickly learned to climb to the top. It is super easy to put together, took 5 minutes. The outside walls fold around the pillars, so you can also move it around and change it up if your pet is prefers. I often put all of the cat toys on top of the house when cleaning so that when I finish, they can pull them all off around the house again, haha. It is starting to get cooler outside, and the house is so warm and soft that it is fine next to the door. Very functional for cats, super sturdy! My 2 cats love this cat house. Both cats (13 pound full grown cat and 6 pound 6 month old kitten) can lay very comfortably together on the top with room to spare and it is very sturdy. They love to jump on it with a running start and the cat house doesn't slide at all. They don't tend to get inside the house together yet because it's still very warm here, but I could see them snuggling up in it together when the weather gets cooler. I'm only giving this 4 stars because the cushion inside the house needs some Velcro or something to secure it to the bottom since the cats often run and slide in there to play and then the cushion is bunched up on one side. The cushion may also just be too warm for them right now, so this works for our house, but it should be mentioned. The media could not be loaded. 🐱 What the 2.5 month old kitten loves about this kitty condo after 3 days: -It’s a safe space for her to hide when she’s scared. -It’s deep and dark enough to feel secure, but not so much that she can’t observe. -It’s soft, warm and cozy when she’s tired and wants a safe place to sleep. -The toys and openings are fun! She can do obstacles of her choosing and has lots of ways to keep herself entertained when needed. 👫What the humans love after 3 days: -This was easy for mom to put together in less than 15 minutes. All the pieces were included and feel sturdy. -It also looks nice! We don’t mind having it in our living room when we have guests over. -It appears to be easy to surface clean. It’s a good weight and can be moved around easily as needed. -Kitty is no longer hiding all the time. I have five cats, each one liking something the other does not. The minute I assembled this (took one minute), each and every cat swarmed to it and they all have claimed it as their own! I had to buy a second widen to accommodate their requests! I truly recommend this, it’s the first time I’ve ever seen all the cats agree, which spurred me to inform all of you that read reviews before purchasing things, like me.     • MY CATS LOVE THIS - easily fits 3
So it comes with soft little Sherpa inserts one for inside the box and one for the top they’re not super thick but like as thick as a plush blanket? The hard insert is for the top layer not inside - I was slightly confused at first but it’s easy to figure it out. Easily fits 3 6 month old kittens with plenty of extra space to grow. One of the kittens has a neurological disability so a cat tree would be a safety risk for him - which is why I wanted to find something him and his siblings could all enjoy - closer to the ground so he’s safer :) little guy is a HUGE fan! He likes to lay on the top , kinda his own safe version of being in a cat tree. I haven’t had it long but all 3 can sit on top at once and they’re about 7-8 pounds each so I’d say the build quality is strong enough to support at least one large cat - possibly 2 or 3 , they will certainly put it to the test as they grow ... show more

Its a very good size for an adult cat(and a kitten), which is what i was worried about. My cat slept in it as soon as I got it assembled, which took less than 2 minutes!... Extremely sturdy also!
