The shelf is used every evening. The space is great for a book, note book or a cup of coffee. It locks sucerly on to the bed and does not move. It does not damage the furniture. I like the material because it is very easy to clean. My daughter uses the shelf more than her desk.

I bought this for my daughter’s top bunk specifically for the water bottle attachment. In the listing photo, they show a 40oz water bottle in it. My daughter only ever has a 12oz water bottle and one of the prongs that goes in the holes broke. So now, if she wants to use it, it hangs crooked. I took it off and just set her water on top of the tray but I’m a little disappointed that part is no longer functional. Overall, it works great and have had no other issues with it. ... show more

UPDATE: There had been some kinks in the R&D for this product. Those kinks have been worked out. I contacted the seller directly, and he graciously offered to ship me the newest model. I had to wait a few extra weeks as it was still in the production phase, but once I received it, I could tell immediately that it was working as it was originally intended. All the accessories clipped on and didn't break. It's had several weeks of constant use by my 13-year-old daughter and we're both delighted. Every single one of the attachable accessories broke at the attachment point rendering them all useless. The bungee cords to hold the power outlet are the only thing still working. I've tried contacting the number provided by the seller but so far no response. It is Memorial Day so I'll give it a few more days but my return window is closing. It says it has bigger clamp and space but the clamp is so thick that it wouldn't fit my bed frame. I love this one because it has clips for my cables and all. I had to buy the slide under my box springs after all...
