Was desperate to find a safe sleeping solution for my autistic child as we’ve been through several of the Alvantor bed tents already as they are thinly made, popes break easily and several pole ends popped thru the fabric, kids easily tripped thru the screened sections or the seam where fabric of tent is sewn to the bottom part was easily torn. Wasn’t happy with their tent quality or their customer service, so I was desperate to find a better tent solution while waiting for a safety bed from our insurance. Pros: LOVE the poles being sturdier and on the outside of the tent. This makes the whole tent more secure and the child can’t get to them to break them. Nice dark fabric insures a good nights sleep even in summer months when it’s lighter lm out later Lots of options for screened sections in summer heat so it stays cooler with ceiling fan on Folds down to a super small size which would make it great for traveling / vacations etc Perfect for a college kid too! Cons: doesn’t have a “bottom” to it. Though my son has realized it mostly because the tent is tight once on the frame so when u install it over the mattress and tuck in under the mattress it’s quite tight. Now, that’s not saying a smart kid couldn’t figure it out and wriggle their way out my so far my 6 yo Houdini hasn’t gotten out that way. The zippers can be opened from inside or outside which of course is needed for your average person but if you are using this for a neuro diverse child then it’s an issue. I had to cut off all the cords attached to the zipper pulls and had to use locking caribeaners on outside zippers to make sure he could elope during the night while I slept. This worked great and was still super easy for me to unlock in a dark room when o needed to get him up for the bathroom, nightmare etc. I bought those caribeaners off Amazon as well. Overall, it’s working so I can sleep at night! Is it a true safety bed no, could small improvements be made by the company to make it an affordable options for parents needing a safety bed but can’t afford the $7000 -$15000 price tag yes!!! And I’ve sent in my suggestions to them and they were very responsive. Overall very happy! I haven’t slept in 8 years with 3 autistic kiddos and I’m happy to say day one out for f the box I slept the whole night thru which was the first time in a long time and MUCH needed. ... show more

I absolutely love this bed tent. It is much bigger than I expected. Big enough for me to sit in bed and read. The mosquito netting allows protection from bugs and allows air in. The tent material breathes but I had my two kids sleep with me and our body heat alone couldn’t dissipate fast enough so I purchased a tent fan. It fits well on my mattress. Wish it had a bottom but was surprised how well it holds. The tent poles are sturdy and the tent tightly held, no sagging. It offers privacy when windows/openings are closed (outside looking in). Also, delivery for me was incredibly fast. Was surprised by how sheer they are in looking out. Wanted more of a light dampening affect but I should’ve read the description better. It did come with a defect on one of the windows mesh netting. Worried it will become a hole. Might glue it but don’t want to create more of an eyesore than already exists. Also, was difficult to put together, especially reaching and clipping the top clasps. Had to get my stepdad to help. All in all I purchased three more in the twin size for the kids. It was easy to assemble by myself, and I've enjoyed crawling into my little cave every night since. The product came quickly and there were no damage. I was able to put it together by myself in a matter of about 20 minutes. I was able to install it on the bed under the mattress as it showed in the instructions. That was a little difficult because the bed that we have is a top bunk and kind of insets into, the frame. We have twin autistic grandchildren. I bought 2 of these in Dec. the poles have already snapped (they like stuffed animals in their beds) I guess the poles wasn’t strong enough for stuffed animals beside the bed. Sad

This thing is hella bent let’s hope it doesn’t snap and hit me in my sleep 🤞🏼 also, there’s like these tiny fibers on the tunnel part, and it kept giving me little splinters. When I purchased this item I was nervous because I didn’t know if it would fit correctly or if it was durable but I must say it’s my best purchase this year. Not only does it fit well, it’s easy to assemble, it provides major privacy. It’s like I’m in my very own oasis. It has 2 sides that zips up or down at your discretion. You can even unzip the bottom and raise the flaps to watch television. It has two layers, one is sheer and the other provides blackout. The tents are customized by the size of your bed. It comes in twin, full, queen, and king size. The bottom of the tent fits around your mattress like a fitted sheet and it’s true to its size. I’ve literally have had mine up for a month now and I haven’t had any issues at all.
