These replaced old heavy blackout curtains that looked like a thick shower curtain. These are a very soft material, actually white ( not cream) and are 99% blackout. I love these ….. great fabric and does the trick when it comes to blocking out light. Love them

Description: 1. Not white, not even off white, more like cream / beige (it works for me). 2. They are really blackout. I ordered the 63" long and the light shows through the bottom. (OK for me it's a family room) 3. Both panels have the same length and width. 4. The material is really good. They have a nice pattern (not exactly like linen). 5. The stiches for the back tabs make little visible holes on the fabric (see upper side on photo). This is the only reason why I removed a star. 6. The best feature for me ... they don't trap heat. That's exactly why I wanted the white liner. Overall, they are beautiful and functional. I washed them and they show little wrinkles. After some ironing, they'll look better. Wrinkles came out after they were hung, except one was folded wrong in package and had a large, deep crease which is still there.
