These curtains are pretty, do a good job of blocking light, muting sounds, helping with temperature control and they are silky soft. But, the white part does not look white! Since they have a black backing, the white looks faintly grey. I am not crazy about them showing black from outside the window either. They'd be perfect if the black which blocks the light could be coated with white to prevent the greyish appearance inside and to also look better from the outside. ... show more
