This is by far one of the better products around. Its definitely a good quality product for a better price than other brands. This epoxy is easy to mix, it's thinner then most which is good for removing bubbles. Easy to to degas in a vacuum chamber unlike other products that are thicker. im just starting doing resin items on a larger scale and this resin is really good and easy to work with. when I pour it, it is with a small stream of resin so I get very few bubbles. it mixes easy with glitter, micas and inks cures in about 24 hour depending on the temp and mold size I have bought this brand twice now. and will buy again ... it comes with 2 measuring cups and stirrers only problem with the cups. is that the markings are on the inside and the resin sticks to those but. I do like them ... little tip*. I use baking parchment instead of a silicon mat. parchment is easy to use and you can make it any size you need it resin doesn't stick and gold leaf doesn't stick to it plus you can throw it away if you need to ... show more

This resin is VERY good at “normal” resin pieces, anything molded, deep poured etc. However, the purpose i needed it for was coating art work-top and sides. This resin is really thin allowing it to flow into just about any space easily, but it’s too thin for clinging onto the edges on my pieces as other, thicker resins have. Multiple coats, sanding between each and it still doesn’t look right. HOWEVER! I found NOTHING wrong with this product in general, it’s extremely clear, easy to mix and in my experience no bubbles that aren’t easily taken care of with a small torch. It hardened to the touch in 8 hours. I would surely buy it again but for a different purpose. ... show more

    • This resin is very finicky!! Edit: I fixed the issue I was having, it was my fault!!

I can mix up a batch and pour it into a mold that has several pieces to it that are all the same thickness and some will cure within the 3 hours I have them on the heating mat and then there are other pieces that stay gooey. The pieces I am trying to cast are not thick, maybe about 1/2cm so this shouldn't be happening and I am always super careful to make sure my mixture is exactly 1:1. I've tried curing without using the heating mat and I get the same results. I would understand if it was poured from a separate batch but it's not. I'm not sure if this resin is just that sensitive or if I'm doing something wrong with it. I make sure not to add to much colorant to the mix also because I know that can cause it not to cure properly. I've had to scrap so many items because even after sitting for almost a week now some of them are set on top but gooey inside the mold and I don't think it's ever going to set. I've wasted so much resin in this past week when I decided to try this brand, I don't think I'll ever buy it again because I feel like I have had to throw more away than I have actually gotten good results from. When I do get it to set, it sets beautifully, but the issue is actually getting it to set and then not knowing if I'm going to end up having a good outcome or having to re-pour it. It's costing me both time and money because I have customers waiting on items and when I have waited days for it to cure and it doesn't, then that sets me back even more because I have to recast it again. I'm at a loss as to where to go from here with resin. I still have almost a gallon of it but I don't want to keep wasting my time not getting a good outcome. Edit: i changed my review to 5 stars because I read some other reviews and googled some about this particular resin and realized I was the one making the mistake, I tried again and this time instead of mixing my hand for like 2 mins, I used my drill with the mixing paddle and I mixed for about 10 mins and this morning woke up to some absolutely perfect castings, that are all nice and solid and very very few tiny bubbles. I spritz my pieces with 91% isopropyl alcohol(rubbing alcohol) and it makes bubbles almost immediately pop, it doesn't completely get them all out on some bigger items, but my smaller ones hardly ever have any bubbles and if they do it's usually my fault for not making sure that all the tiny small corners or points are fully filled. ... show more

I have tried so many different resins for my crafts. I have followed directions, I have tried some many things. The Beast Bond has been by far the clearest, hardest drying and easiest to use by far! I make a lot of game boards and other items and this is by far the best I have used.

Works great if you know the do's and don'ts of using epoxy in general. I've been using it on tables and such as a 1 or 2 layer deal. It takes quite a bit to even cover a small table though. I spend about $100 on resin and epoxy just to cover a table. I wish it didn't cost so much but it doesn't matter what brand, it's all quite pricey. Might ass well ... show more
