The JENIUSes at Menards Springfield MO (spelling intentional) delivered some damaged fence posts, but managed to conceal the damage. I had a contractor set the posts in concrete not knowing of the damage and this is what I found. I used the epoxy to 'clean up' the damage as best I could and went on with my fence project. It was that or pay a contractor to dig up the post, take it back to Menards for an exchange, then pay $60 to reset the post + $18 in concrete. Epoxy was the way to go. TY Loctite! ... show more

    • Only adhesive I ever use
I’m on my 4th or 5th package of Loctite Epoxy. I normally don’t trust adhesives to hold anything. But this stuff has NEVER failed me. Holds on like mad. I also like: -The applicator: Epoxy in general can be intimidating if you haven’t used it before. With two chemicals to mix. But, Loctite’s applicator is so easy to use that this concern completely disappears. It does all the work for you… AND -Loctite is kind enough to provide two “nozzels”. If you don’t use all the product on the first project, you can just pop the unused nozzle on and it’s as easy to apply as when you first opened it. The adhesive is very strong and quick setting. I made a mistake when I glued some round wooden balls together, and I am unable to separate the balls. The only problem is that the long mixing tubes can only be used once. Thus for small projects, after using a small amount of adhesive, I have to mix the two parts in a small cup.     • The directions are hard to follow
I used the product to glue the plug-in on the handle of my walking cane. There's a wrist band on the plug in, and the plug in was easy to pull out, which was not a good thing. So I wanted to glue the plastic plug in to the metal cane handle. There is a great deal of epoxy glue in the tubes, and I will have to waste most of it, which I don't like to do environmentally, as it is highly toxic and I don't know how to dispose of the extra glue safely, so I will just throw it into the garbage. There are only two nozzles included, which means I can only do two glue jobs, and this is a small job, so there's a lot left over. I didn't wipe down the tip of the tube, which probably means I would not be able to use it again, and I rarely have any need for epoxy. I think if I ever need epoxy again, I will buy this again, because it mixes the two substances equally and perfectly. It's a great idea, and in distant past when I used epoxy I made a big mess. I did not make a mess this time, so there's a lot to be said for this product, especially now that I know how to use it. ... show more

This product worked perfectly I bought a used Ford F-150 drivers side tail light from Ebay the light was $1,800.00 from the dealer, I paid $375.00 for a used one the only problem was the mounting pins were broken off alone with the slots that hold them, I took this product and put a blob on each mounting pin and helped them in place for 5 minutes and let them dry over night the next day they were just as solid as the rest of the light. I installed the light the pins were under pressure and worked beautifully headed up and installed perfectly. Saved me over $1,400.00. Best $8.00 I evert spent! ... show more

    • Not easy to use, Instrustions are very Vague at Best
The container Does not Open easy It says the move to the side not Twist, Thats all.. after breaking the tab off it flowed into the tube 24 hours later feels like its just Resin.. I may take the Rest Mix it manually and retry Again. It is not easy use.. I can't say if it works or not because of the lack of proper instructions I do not think it mixed correctly. I bought this because it was recommended by amazon.. As of late i am finding recommended by amazon : is not a selling point anymore ... show more
