  • Good Mix on Media Shot
The mix in this batch is great getting into all the curves that I have in my jewelry. That assures me the piece will come out of the tumbler, bright and clean.

  • Good but small
Good for my Tumbler and my small metalsmithing project but beads get trapped easily in project. I would go a size or 2 bigger next time

  • They are great,
I read several reviews on these shots, so I wondered if they where going to be what I wanted. So I bought them. They do not come with instructions, so because I wanted to be fair to both my self and to the product I Googled how to use Stainless Steel Shots, I watch a video on U Tube. Besure you have a fine mesh strainer, put all your shots in a fair size plastic bowl with a little dish soap. When your done pour them into the strainer, and rince them well. When get a wide like 6inch X 6inch dish and fold up several paper towels after you have rinced and strained them pour them onto the paper towel and keep anther paper towel and rub them and move them around, if the paper towel their on is real damp get a couple more and lift the others out and put new towels in the dish and carefully pour them on to the dry towels. Im telling you this because so many people write bad reviews because they assume something is worry free. There are different grades of stainless steel. I have bought cheap new dinner ware thatbsaid stainless steel and it rust. So if you take care of this product let it take its time to air dry, change the towels. Then store them in a dry baggy, then these should last you a long time. I am extremly happy with these. Infact i only need to use half of the 2 lbs I bought, and it polished up my copper chain maille bracelet beautifully. And i cleaned and washed them again. So take care of your shots and they will make you happy. The pictures are before and after, they one with the green is after. ... show more

  • Everything is shiny
I love these in my tumbler with burnishing compound.

  • The small round ball shapes oxidize and dissolve to rust
I have purchased three different medias from this seller and this media contains some non stainless material. This is just some that were removed with the use of a magnate. The other medias i have purchased are the small pins. They work the best and are used daily for the last finishing before ceramic media. Also use the little saucers but they turn things black so they are only used as starter media for heavier oxidized castings. Please note. The tumblers used with these medias have all been conditioned before production use and only use distilled water with ivory bar soap. ... show more
