I am using a dual HDMI monitor, a camera, a microphone/speaker combo, connected Ethernet cable, a PD charger and everything started working fine as soon as I turned the switch on. No issues at all. It is compact and doesn't occupy much space on the table. I feel they could have had a longer C-Type cable to connect to laptop. Seems too short and is not too convenient. Works great. I use this for my both my Legion GO and my Legion Slim 5. I did have some initial issues with the Ethernet port on this hub but was able to isolate the issue to the drivers. Once I went to Realtek's website and downloaded the updated drivers (that windows 11 doesn't default to for some reason) it immediately fixed all my drop out issues. It is able to do 4k 120hz 10-bit RGB no problem off the primary HDMI port. I have not tried messing with HDR since the HDR experience in Windows leaves a lot to be desired. You can also 4k 30hz, 1440p 60hz, and 1080p 120hz off the second HDMI port. But I don't have really a use case for the second HDMI port at the moment. It gets a little warm during heavy operation but the metal chassis helps with dissipating the heat and I have has no issues with it getting too hot. No issues with any of the connected devices via USB-A or USB-C and PD 3.0 works great for Charging my GO while having it docked. I searched through dozens of hubs to find one that fit my use case - I have two different laptops that I periodically have to swap into my dual-monitor desktop setup, one of which has only a single USB-C port. This unit has dual-HDMI outputs, allows for PD charging (you need a separate power brick and USB cable), and has enough USB ports to allow me to leave a keyboard, mouse, headphone dongle, and webcam attached. As others have noted, it does get a bit warm, though not enough to burn or be of real concern. The one issue I have with the unit is the USB-C connector - it's an integrated cable, and it's short. One of my laptops has its USB-C port on the left, and the other has it on the right, and the integrated cord on this unit isn't long enough to reach both from a single position, which means I have to constantly flip it over when I swap laptops, resulting in a tangle of cords. And if anything goes wrong with the integrated cord, the whole unit will be useless. I'd much prefer to be able to use a longer cord. Otherwise, it's a great unit for the price. ... show more

The dock is fast and easy to utilize. Value for money is there and weight is absent. The heat level has not been tested thoroughly however I’m sure it will hold up.

I bought this to be able to steam GFN from my gaming laptop with only a 3070 graphics card to my 4K 120hz TV. Needed this as it has an external 100w power capability. I did buy a 100w brick to supply the power and an 8K HDMI cable... but that did the trick! Playing GFN on a 55" 4K at 120fps/120hz is awesome! ... show more

4k 120Hz output is made possible on RoG Ally using this hub! Make sure to use the HDMI 1 port and only. I made the mistake of using the wrong port at first and couldn’t get 4k 120Hz to work. It’s also got enough usb-A ports for controllers, keyboard and mouse. An Ethernet port to ensure stable 4k streaming from my PC. And passthrough charging to the Ally. I did need to use a higher wattage charger (100W) to provide enough power to the Ally as all hubs consume some power for the various ports supported. Overall a five star product, and a perfect dock/hub for the RoG Ally. ... show more

Poor product, does not recognize standard SD card or micro-sd card. Tried with multiple different adapters and different name brand memory cards including Samsung and Sandisk. Would not buy again or recommend to friends or family.
