Features

  • Consider Your Dog's Shape: When selecting a size, measure your dog's neck circumference and consider the width of the cone and the height of the shield to ensure full coverage of the wound. The cone should extend past your dogs mouth to prevent them from biting the guard or reaching the wound. This inflatable dog collar may not be suitable for dogs with very long noses, legs, or tails, or more flexible breeds
  • Maintain the Shield and Keep it Upright: The baffle is made of plastic and can be damaged if your dog chews or bites it. To prevent this, train your dog not to bite the baffle by using treats or toys to redirect their attention. If the shield becomes deformed, your dog may be able to reach the wound through the indentations. To fix this, unfold the shield and place a heavy object on it for a few hours to restore its shape and ensure proper function
  • Help Your Dog Get Used to the Collar: To help your dog adjust to the inflatable dog cone and minimize the chances of them removing it, introduce the collar gradually and associate it with good experiences. Start by supervising for short periods, using the collar during daily activities, and rewarding calm behavior. This approach will help your dog become more comfortable with the dog donut collar and reduce anxiety, making it less likely that theyll remove it during recovery
  • Ensure Proper Inflation: The inflation valve has a small cutoutpinch the base of the valve to open it and allow air to enter. While pinching, use a sele-purchased pump or your mouth to inflate the donut cone for dogs. You can adjust the firmness by varying the inflation to avoid excess pressure on the seams, which could cause leakage. Once inflated, quickly cover the valve with the cap to seal it. Trim your dog's nails to prevent scratching that could puncture the dog cone alternative
  • Better Dog Cone Alternative: Traditional dog cones can be a nuisance, causing pets to bump into furniture, feel uncomfortable, and experience stress due to obstructed vision. In many cases, a BARKLESS innovative inflatable dog cone with an anti-licking shield is an excellent solution, effectively limiting the reach of healing wounds on the body

  • Comfy and effective
Size: Medium Plus Color: Grey
We needed a cone to protect our pug from chewing his feet while we treated his allergies. This one lets him see through the clear shield while protecting his feet and also it's soft and comfortable on his neck.

  • It didn't last two hours
Size: XL Color: Grey
The product is simply inferior materials wrapped in a nice wrapper. Simple and minor bumps with the cone into the furniture ended up with a broken cone that had extremely sharp fragments to it. The concept is great, but it is NOT worth the money. DO NOT RECOMMEND

  • Not for determined chewers…
Size: L Color: Grey
The media could not be loaded. The plastic piece was bent juuuuuuust right that my dog was able to get his teeth around the edge and chew it all to hell. I took the plastic piece off but he has a tumor at the base of his tail where it meets his back, and that sucker was able to contort around the doughnut and get to it. It was easy to blow up and put on and take off, and he seemed much more comfortable than with the plastic cone, but it didn’t work well for my needs. I tried to put a muzzle on him, too, but that didn’t seem fair lol. Once he chewed the plastic ring it was sharp and had to be removed. UPDATE - the seller reached out to me about it and offered me a replacement, which was really nice! Added a star for the amazing customer service. ... show more

  • Easy for dogs to chew plastic part.
Size: XL Color: Grey
Not great for medium to large dogs. My 60lb lab chewed the plastic barrier part to pieces. The inflatable portion lasted, but that alone does not work for many dogs, like labradors. They are bendy and can reach where they are not supposed to easily.

It only took about an hour.

  • Worked really well
Size: XL Color: Grey
I was skeptical, but it worked! I like that this is attached to their collar. We only needed to prevent licking the toes. So the height of the cone was sufficient. I think the height can be higher

  • Not good for German Shepard’s
Size: L Color: Grey
I have a German Shepard that likes to bite her tail and break skin. I’ve been at a complete loss with different cones. I’m shocked that she was able to break this one as well. I don’t recommend this for German shepherds.
