These things are probably not going to break. -D-rings are nice and thick. -Can fit around a 1 inch bar. Can barely fit around some 2 inch bars. Will definitely fit if you use both straps. -Good for giving you a D-ring to clip onto a bar which is always very handy. Cons: -I wish these straps were a little bit longer. -Some 2 inch bars I have, these straps will not fit around (see pic). Other Thoughts: -I don't use these with bowflex like your suppose to. My use is to use them with pull ups bars. ... show more

    • Seem robust and should get the job done
The quality seems good: thick nylon strap, good stitching, fairly heavy-duty D-ring without being unnecessarily heavy. I loop these over band pegs on my rack to attach resistance tubing that has a carabiner at each end. There are a wide variety of other options for similar uses, ranging from hammock/tree swing straps at the inexpensive end to axle tie-down straps, climbing runner swings, yoga and Pilates straps, and many other things. The best solution depends on whether you need a D-ring, whether the strap needs to be able to fit over an anchor point that isn't open at one end to slide the strap over, whether you want the strap to be sewn, whether you need the strap to have a strength rating, length, color, and whether you need adjustability, among other factors. These straps are short, sewn, non-adjustable, plain black in color, have D-rings, and will get the job done but aren't particularly attractive or feature-rich. ... show more
