cheap price, but decent as starter ham radio. you can listen without a license, but get your license if you want to transmit. two longer antennas are inside the box under the packaging, but don't seem to be much better than standard rubber ducky. functioning as expected. chargers work too. thanks.

Overall, this set of radios works quite well, unfortunately, one of the radios I received just doesn't hold a charge like it should and I didn't notice very quickly because my buddy and I only use these radios to communicate while we are towing on long camping trips. I originally emailed Baofeng directly since I didn't even realize I had purchased this set from ABBREE rather than directly from Baofeng. To their credit, Baofeng responded to my email within one day and let me know that since I purchased from ABBREE I would have to take the issue up with them. I emailed ABBREE two weeks ago and still nothing. I have owned six Baofeng radios, so I know they are solid, ABBREE is not solid so if you purchase these, don't do so through ABBREE. ... show more

Their very nice may I say so myself. I was able to use them in the city on UHF, but when uhf is enabled the beep tone is horribly distorted to where it hurts your ears, and the call alert doesn’t work on either BANDS. Other than that very good audio quality, the build quality ain’t bad. And it’s nice a and small, the life of the battery is insane too ... show more
