I watched a few YT videos about this brand pole before installing it, which I think helped a lot. However....I still managed to use the wrong size extension out of the two. It's only a 1/2 inch difference. I should have measured. My only complaint is that the two small screws on the top part are very cheap and stripped easily when I tried to unscrew them to slide the cover piece up. I had to get my son to unscrew them with a larger Phillips head on a drill, thankfully they have nothing to do with the integrity of the pole. It does spin perfectly! I would only recommend this pole if you are just starting out and don’t know if you’re serious our not. I’ve had the pole for about two months now and I didn’t know about the material of pole the steel one is so slippery I can barely stay on but it does help with strength. I wouldn’t recommend trying invert moves on this pole for safety reasons but if installed properly upright moves are perfect ... show more

So originally I was skeptical because of the reviews but I ended up ordering it. When I received the pole upon opening the box I realized it was missing instructions I went ahead and looked up serenelife pole instructions videos and found one on YouTube so that was nice after installing however I tried to use it and it proceeded to fall over so I had to reinstall it I think my main issue was that it was crooked so I suggested having another person help hold it up straight to prevent future injuries. After I reinstalled it and made sure it was secure I did some exercises I found on YouTube and it worked great it doesn’t slip at all definitely worth the buy! (Make sure to install it correctly the first time! And no it cannot be installed to a vaulted ceiling lol) ... show more

my pole was bent when i got it. it honestly looked used but i this is my first pole so i didn’t know any better . it became a problem when the pole kept falling cause the metal is bent is 2 different places when i spin .. it gets looser making the pole fall . i’ve been trying to contact seller to exchange my pole but amazon says i can’t . my pole lasted 2/3 weeks before it gave out on me . now i need a new pole and i wasted my money !! there’s better pole out there but not this one . i’d love to exchange my pole but since i can im writing this review ... show more

    • Parts Don't Fit Together *BUT you can fix it*

I have updated from 1 to 3 starts as the mufacturing defect I spoke of was easy enough to fix on my own. Simply filed down the little extra globs of metal on the base and then the bottom piece slid over with ease, and after I fixed that the pole was easy to put up, very sturdy, and spins well. Has also been doing a good job staying put on my carpet. Overall I am happy for the price point. As many others have talked about, there is a manufacturing error in many of these that makes it so the first piece that should miunt on the base simply will not fit over. I saw the priduct had 4.5 star average still so I rolled the dice, but unfortunately I recieved one of the defective ones and this will be heading right back to Amazon. Honestly, I bought it through the Amazon Warehouse, expecting when they told me it was in very good used condition that it had been examined and would not be a faulty product but unfortunately this was not the case... ... show more

this product is much better quality than i originally expected for how good the price is!! a little difficult to set up at first but once you figure it out it should be easy to take up and down! i needed two people to set it up. it’s really stable i don’t feel worried that it will fall down. we did have an issue with the washer at the top getting too tight, but after reading the troubleshooting section in the manual we were able to loosen it. there is also a helpful youtube video on how to set it up! I love it so far i would definitely recommend! ... show more
