I bought the used one and was super worried about the condition it would come in. The box was really beat up and was on the verge of losing some of the smaller pieces, but everything looked great! The set up was super easy. You’ll need a stud finder so it doesn’t mess up your ceiling. And I used a level to make sure the pole was straight. My apartment has popcorn ceilings so I cut part of a yoga mat and placed it between the pole and ceiling so it wouldn’t fall (I totally fell before doing that lol). But it’s super stable now. I’m 175lbs and it hasn’t shifted at all. I’ve enjoyed using it a lot and plan on taking classes so I can come home and use my pole more often. It’s really great exercise. ... show more

I just got the pole so we will see how it goes with time. So far the pole is sturdy, I’m plus size. It was fairly Dr simple putting together. I think a good pole for first at home pole.

Very sturdy, even on carpet. Used a studfinder. Easy to assemble, a bit difficult to level. The pieces did not stand up exactly vertically so I had to painstakingly nudge around the pole under mild tension with the ceiling to straighten before tightening. The spin is smooth and not loose. I dislike the design of the top cover since it is just cosmetic, but covers all the adjustment holes. I removed the cover so that I can retighten or loosen to move the pole if necessary. The chrome is good. The blue plastic wrap is annoyingly tightened to the bases and couldn't easily be removed. The base lettering is poor quality but I didn't expect much for the price. The pole was easy to put together. Make sure to measure your ceiling to floor so you can know if you need to use pole C, D, or D and C. I did not end up using the little circle piece at the top. I found that it got in the way when twisting the inner pole part. Once you put the pole up it is tight! You do have the option to make the pole static or spinning. When putting the pole together make sure it is straight!!! The whole time or you will have issues when in spinning mode. ... show more

I have had two of these poles. The first one came defective so the part would not go together, the second one was able to be put together, but it is NOT AT ALL sturdy for more than walking around it really, i tried to do some more complex moves and the pole fell,(i used a stud finder, a ladder, measured my ceiling, made sure it was level) i did everything I should have, but i still broke my leg when it fell with me on it. Please buy xpole instead. More expensive but you won’t break a bone!!! Be careful! These should be taken off market, or atleast have a warning telling people its not safe for inverts and fast moves and combos. ... show more

    • Couldn't get two poles to separate
Assembling the pole took some work but it wasn't impossible. I found the instructions not super clear but I managed to get it up. When it was up, the pole was great. I felt comfortable putting my full weight on it. But when I went to dissasemble it, two of the longer poles wouldn't separate. I've tried using WD-40, a rubber wrench, and brute force to get them apart but they are locked in together. I contacted customer service and didn't receive any help. It sucks because I'm moving and the two long poles won't fit in any shipping boxes while they're stuck together, so I'm gonna have to throw it away. Really bummed. ... show more
