  • Good value, but maybe too small
This battery does everything we bought it to do. This includes running the refrigerator during the camped hours of the weekend, charging phones and even the hand vacuum. We don't carry the solar panel for a weekend. Longer trips it pairs well with either our 60 or 120 watt panels. The 8mm charging port is Goal Zero's size, so most panels come with the correct adapter. This allows us to charge by taking the rig to the sunlight while the van stays in the shade. That's why we bought a power unit instead of just running off the van. This unit (330) does what they say and I like it from it's flat top to it's dust caps. Don't fear the brand, even if it is playing the value end of the price class. Now unless you specifically need the low end in price, size and weight, don't buy this. Once you have it you will find ways to use it that never occurred to you. It becomes your extension cord. Need a light in a corner? Grid down and you need power to your cable internet box? Need to saw a PVC drain in the back yard? Playing your keyboard/guitar for friends around the campfire this weekend? What would Tim do? MORE POWER! The 330 will run a Sawsall well enough for PVC, but trimming the fruit trees means dragging the long cord out to the orchard. It ran the camper refrigerator 2 days saving the Easter dinner food. The house refrigerator, if it will even start, would suck it dry in 14 hours. If you are not hung up on 6", 8 pounds, or $280, then go bigger. Who has said "gee, I wish I had bought the little one."? If the power isn't working by bed time you will wish you had the big battery. ... show more

  • Great for CPAP Use
If you are a camper, but you use a CPAP, then this is the power station for you. One full charge gives you from two to three nights of CPAP use. It charges back to 100% quickly (on my generator it only takes 2-3 hours). It's very compact and light so it's easy to pack and take along. Controls are easy to use and the display shows you the status of the charge at a single glance. ... show more

  • Great little unit
Love the rugged design and the light weight, very very useful PD port since apple phone doesn’t give out the charging brick anymore, powerful enough to my laptop too. No cable? Wireless charging to the top. Functions are very straightforward, nothing complicated.

  • BALDR IS A HORRIBLE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT WITH NO WARRANTY SUPPORT
The BALDR battery charged as intended. However, to start, it periodically discharged to zero charge overnight. This left us without expected power in the morning and cloudy days. If there was no sun, we had no power. Then, after discharging itself one night, it would not recharge at all leaving us with no battery power. We tried to return it under the warranty, because it was less than a year old, but the company will not return emails or calls. BALDR is a horrible defective product with a worthless warranty. We will definitely utilize a competitor product going forward. ... show more

  • Nice performing small generator
Generator was easy to charge using my existing solar panel and the appropriate connector. I tested the generator on a 55 inch TV with a sound bar and woofer. Also connected was a landline telephone and a cable box. No problem. Another test included a desktop computer, 23 inch Monitor, router, modem ,printer and lamp generating 145Watts total output. The test went just fine. I am pleased with the performance of this small generator. ... show more

  • Great little power bank!
This power bank is VERY light weight for the amount of power it can supply, however, because it only uses lithium ion batteries, the ultimate lifespan of this power bank will only be about 20 to 30 percent of a power bank with LiFePo4 cells (e.g. Bluetti). You may get about 3 or 4 years usage (using regularly) from this power bank as apposed to 10 years or so from using one with LiFePo 4 cells...Still....This unit is very light and has a great user interface. This is a very nice little power bank for occasional users, but if you plan on using your power bank more than once or twice a month, I highly recommend getting one with LiFePo4 cells. I highly recommend the Bluetti EB3A which just came out. The Bluetti EB3A has similar Wh and price to the BALDR 330, but will have a much longer overall lifespan. I also recommend the Bibene, FFpower, or OUKITEL power station (aka CN505). (all the same mfg.) This unit has LiFePo4 cells, is very compact, and has a rated 613 Wh capacity (count on 500Wh in the real world). Still a great value. ... show more

  • It worked better than I expected
It worked better than I expected

  • Glad I got mine before reading some of the reviews.
Three years this pioneer 330 has been in daily use. It has rarely dropped below 25%, but must be approaching 500 cycles with no evidence of decreased performance. I have never plugged it, or my cell phone, or laptop, or several lithium tools into the wall. It is a small thing, but i really like that our camper's mini Shark has not charged on fossil power since purchase. When we get a sunny day I check the Baldr to see if it wants a charge. A 60w portable panel and a few hours makes it ready. When I bought it, it was one of very few choices under $300. Now there are options in the 500 class at that price point. For the extra $30 and 2 pounds I would now get the 500 with 35% more battery and enough output to run the vacuum at the car. As it is, I have been satisfied with this one with its dust caps. It was purchased to run the camp refridge and light rope for a day. It has that ability and so much more. The only nit I have has to do with a software issue. If you plug it into a big panel like a 120, it may shut down the charging. Okay, so too much. But it doesn't restart. You must reset it. If you aren't attentive you can lose the whole day. There are competitors that can take a much higher rate, or will clip the overcharge or reset when cooler. My solution is to stick to the 60, but when the forecast is now or never it would be nice to push it harder without the double or nothing element. Fix that and I will buy another. Makes an excuse to get the 500 and know the refridge is good from Friday to Sunday. ... show more
