    • Why I chose Bala over the one w sand bags.
The media could not be loaded. My doctor recommended high impact walking for bone density. Another doctor had suggested using weights for that goal. Bala costs more than the knockoffs but I preferred the band be same color as the weights instead of black. I tried a different brand with interchangeable sand bags up to five lbs but realized that I probably wasn’t going to be switching out the sand bags. Also, it was bulkier than the Bala. I opted for Bala because I felt that I would be more inclined to wear something Inconsideref more aesthetically pleasing than one that is more versatile 1-5 lbs. I intend to wear the Bala while out and about doing chores and running errands. The Bala ankle weights (1 lb each) are slimmer and fit better. I have narrow ankles. I can adjust them very easily. I bought the dusty blue to wear with jeans and black athletic wear. Turns out they also look good with aqua/teal. ... show more

    • Perfect light weights
These are great to wear while walking to get a little extra push. The Velcro is very sturdy and they they don’t move around. They are also pretty comfortable. Much better then others on the market and worth the extra price.

Velcro stretched out and I had the product less than a month. Used almost daily as ankle weights. Very cute and comfortable when they were on, but once the Velcro started to stretch they slipped down my ankle which was uncomfortable and made them unusable. Had to return.

I bought these after seeing them used in various exercise videos. They’re comfortable on and look better than many other ankle/wrist weights but I’m not convinced they’re worth the higher price tag. If I were getting new weights I’d probably look for something cheaper and just as functional but maybe a bit less stylish… after all, I workout at home where no one sees me! ... show more
