Ordered product, came in early, Barcode had manufactured date of 2/2/2022. Old unit, some parts didn't fit as they should have , some parts broke in box, little bit of glue and some wing nuts and got it installed, which was extremely simple with the Rambox because of the tie down rails it sits on. Disappointed with the product up front, but in the end it does the Job. And it's lighter than my G2 unit on my silverado and I love the Flat paint appearance, better than a glossy look. ... show more

Had one in the past and it is awesome. Got one on here it said it would fit my truck. It was coming from shop eddies.When I went to install it it was 2 inches too wide. I requested a refund they approved it but said I have to pay for shipping. So I had amazon contact SHOP EDDIES and they said I ordered the wrong part. I told them no it said it would fit my truck. Magically after I requested a refund the description was changed and now it says it don’t fit my truck. When you request a refund you have to check a box as to why you want a refund. Wrong part was ordered was the closest thing to my issue. And note I had to check a box to continue with the refund process. So a few days of going back and forth threw email with SHOP EDDIES and them telling me I ordered the wrong part. And me and amazon telling them they should be responsible since they sent the wrong one. They said well read your description your 2022 is not in the description. And I never told them I drive a 2022 and that just let me know that they know what they took out of the original description. And on top of that the original description and the packing slip and the description on the printout from the refund were all different. But SHOP EDDIES swore I ordered the wrong part. But amazon was great with trying to help. I ended up paying $130 to return it then was given my money back by amazon. So great product just don’t buy it if it’s being sold by SHOP EDDIES. ... show more

The installation was easy, and it is as quality as I figured it would be. First: It did come with aluminum shavings from the factory kind of all over the cover, but they were easily removed. Second: My truck lives in a heated garage, but the first trip out of town with it was for a snowmobile trip. It did snow the three days we were there, and when I went to roll the cover up to repack the truck after brushing the snow almost completely off, the right-side rail would not "retract" and seemed to be frozen. We had to slide our gear into the bed with it in the closed position. Not cool dude. Overall, it's probably overpriced, but so was the truck I installed it on. (2022 Ram 3500 Short box) Would I buy it again? I suppose. I'm a glutton for punishment.... ... show more

After much research and watching online reviews, the Bak hard rolling cover seemed to be the one for my 2022 Ram 3500. Installing the rails was no issue but when it came time to fit the cover on, it was pretty ugly. Bolts to hold the front barely aligned with rail slots, rubber seal on back end of rails peeled off with the first close of the tailgate, and back of cover would not latch. Contacted Bak tech support who was super helpful, verified I have the right cover, and gave me some suggestions on how to ajust the latches for better fitment. They also told me that these 5th Gen Rams have a little bit of a tapered bed but with proper adjustment, it will work perfectly, just like the advertise. After a couple hours of trying to adjust the cover, it still wouldn't latch and would bind in the rails when rolling. Also, the little plastic corner covers at the rear basically fell of on the first time. Had different mechanics look at it in our shop and no one could get it to roll or latch properly. VERY disappointing from what is supposed to be the top hard rolling bed cover. Again tech support was super helpful but just wouldn't fit right on the truck. Oh and the tailgate seal seems to be worthless, looked from the inside out with everything aligned and it was not even touching anything. Even tried it on another 5th gen Ram 1500 and same issues. Build quality seems decent but fitment is worse than poor. Unfortunately these covers won't be the solution for our fleet. Returning and going back to search for another hard rolling bed cover... ... show more

I have a 2020 Ram w/ side rail boxes I’ll start off by saying the shipment arrived quickly (3 days), packaged really well, and everything you need is in the package. The cover, all the hardware, and gaskets are great quality, and that’s where the best part stops. It seems like Bak-flip tried to use “one size fits all” approach, which absolutely does not work. Today’s trucks have tie rails, side tool boxes, and various other unique OEM components that make the “one size fits all” idea, well just not a good idea. Most of the hardware kind of worked, but not really. The cover isn’t blowing off but it’s not really attached in a quality way. For those OCD customizers you know what I mean. Now for water tightness, Because the cover was made to fit a dozen different bed types it doesn’t seal real great. It keeps the bed basically dry but some water gets down along the side of the bed, so it’s doing the job, and I’m happy with that. If you have to keep things dry this might not be the cover for you. ... show more
