The default maximum temperature is 167°F. Why? Uncertain. It may have been produced for a specific item that required that temperature. Controller Part Number - ED330 Press "Set" button once quickly to set the desired temperature. Hold the "Set" button for 5 seconds to access the settings menu. E1 - Low point limit (Default Low Temperature - required for fridge mode) E2 - High point limit (Default Maximum Temperature. Recommend maxing this out.) E3 - Hysteresis (Allows drift between the set temperature and actual. Recommend setting this to 5°) E4 - Comp.start delay time (Don't touch) E5 - Offset on room temp.     • Easy to use this heat pad

First of all, it’s very convenient to use. It heats up fast too – 160F in 5mins. The instruction is clear and easy to understand how to adjust the default data in the controller. And secondly, most of the heating pads come with glue to stick it under the vacuum chamber but with this one, you can fit it directly to the chamber. Make sure you’re using the correct size of chamber. I got a 3 gallon vacuum chamber and a 5 gallon one. The heating efficiency wasn’t relatively good when you use 9” Bacoeng Vacuum Heating Pad for a 5 gallon vacuum chamber. Also be extremely aware of the offset temperature. For more details read the instruction. Let me point out an example. When you set the chamber temperature to 120F using the controller, the temperature of the chamber inside the surface would be around 111F. So now all you do is add 9F (9F Offset) to the controller i.e. change the controller reading from 120F to 129F. With this, you can achieve the 120F on the inside surface of the chamber. The heating performance is rapidly fast. The heating material is made of Etched metal foil/wire wound with a heater thickness of 1.5mm. And I noticed the silicone and rubber insulation. By the way, be careful not to touch the pads with your hands. At the moment when I purchased this heater, I was the first one to review it.     • Never gets up to temp
After 2 hours, it was only able to get 8 cups of water up to 90 degrees. Totally useless if it can't even get warm.
