  • Great value for the money and it's a Bach made in America!!!.
Order this trumpet on May 21,2020 with a arrival date of May 29/June 3. The trumpet came on May 26, 2020. That is excellent service!. The trumpet was packed in a very heavy cardboard container surrounded by packing material. The number 3 valve was sticking a bet was oiled with oil that was supplied !! Now everything is 100%. This instrument is a great value for the money. Before I forget the trumpet is supplied with a Bach 7c mouthpiece and a Bach hardcover case. Again great value. ... show more

  • valves struck
the valves stuck badly, took awhile to get oil in, they were somewhat smooth afterward. the valves were somehow not surfaced properly, possibly a manufactory defect item.

  • Trumpet didn't work and didn't receive full refund.
Dont buy! I bought the product and right out of the box it valves would close. I sent it back and only got a $ 500 refund. When I paid 1091.00. I later saw that the have 50% restock fee if you use the item. But I don't use it, because the valves didn't work. What a total scam. I would have just kept the trumpet and had it repaired. ... show more

  • Great for Beginners
I love my TR300. I've been using it for about five years now, since I started playing. After becoming a more advanced player, I've decided that an upgrade is in order. But to start playing the trumpet this is the only horn I would recommend. It really allows the student to create a great sound without having difficulty and without the parent's fear of breaking an expensive instrument. I really am a strong supporter of Bach instruments, and I would never have chosen a different instrument than my TR300 to get me started. Great horn, plays amazingly well even as you advance. Definitely would recommend. ... show more

  • Nice trumpet overall
The pistons are still very smooth after 2 month of daily practice, and sound quality is good. Compared to Yamaha, Bach seems to sound a little bit brighter and react faster (both are good). For manufacturing, Yamaha is a little bit better (such as brazing points. Yamaha is also cheaper). I found few pieces of machining chips in the pistons so I suggest that give the new trumpet a thorough bath if you know how to do (don't wash the springs), dry and oil/grease all moving parts before using. Nice trumpet overall. ... show more

  • Mediocre
Bach makes good trumpets but this particular trumpet I purchased used. Corks were worn and needed to be replaced, tuning slide was warped and does not close completely. Description said it was only used to teach students but the trumpet clearly had a lot of miles on it.
