This was ordered as a replacement for a similar pole lamp shade that was accidentally broken, while being transferred out of the room it's normally used in, so that the room itself could be effectively flea bombed. The original glass shade was shattered when it was accidentally knocked up against the upper door frame between my father's living room and kitchen. Until we found this new shade at Antique Lamp Supply in Tennessee, we weren't sure as to what we'd be able to do in finding a replacement. Thankfully, the web, Antique Lamp Supply, and Amazon came through for us and the replacement shade is actually nicer than the original. I like the etched pattern on it, since it looks more professional. Price aside ($36.86), this shade is worth the money for use on an antique lamp my family has now owned since I was a very young boy in the early '80s. The lamp also makes use of an earlier-generation frosted warm white LED bulb from Sylvania, delivering a 100W-equivalent level of light output and designed to last 25,000 hours.     • Fixed my antique lamp
Size: 10 Inch Diameter
After breaking the original, I just moved the lamp into an obscure corner and put the lamp shade over it and never used it. This fixed the problem and makes a lovely lamp. I threw away the shade as it too was damaged from the fall and it really doesn't need it.

This white glass "reflector shade" was just the type I wanted. But, unfortunately, the bottom diameter, shown as 2.25" on one of the pictures, was in fact larger, and wouldn't fit into the lamp base. It wasn't much of a problem other than the disappointment, since Amazon made it easy to return.

The description listed the fitter size I needed. Unfortunately the size listed is NOT the actual size. Its⅛" wider than stated. That may seem minimal, but that +⅛" was just enough to make it impossible to use on my lamp.
