  • Great to reduce actual plugs
Style Name: Set Lights
We have 28 or so Dickens houses and using these multiple lights on one plug are a life saver, it makes it possible to actually plug the houses in and turn them on. We combined a number of these with LED bulbs to reduce the heat and wattage pull. You have to have your houses close to each other for these to work (within 6-9 inches or so), but as long as you don't mind, these are great. We have both the 3 and 6 bulb versions. ... show more

  • Fantastic help for Village setup!
Style Name: Set Lights
This is a great help in setting up a village. I also bought one of the 3 socket sets to cover everything I had in my small village. These fit Dept. 56, as well as Lemax. I now have everything easily plugged into 2 power strips and the power strips are plugged into a power source that runs by remote control. One push of a button turns on my entire village this year. I couldn't be happier! I've included one picture to show the widest gap I have between any two houses. In the picture you see one restaurant by Lemax and one church by Dept. 56. The distance between the *center point* of each house is 16 inches, and it's a tight stretch of the cord. There's no more wiggle room at this point. The hole for the Lemax light is on the bottom of the house, the Dept. 56 house is on the back. ... show more

  • Cheaper than buying the bulbs alone and works great!
Style Name: Set Lights
I needed one replacement bulb for a Village house. Unfortunately, the first time around I ordered the wrong kind and it burned out the new bulb and also wrecked the cord. I wish I'd discovered this sooner-- for barely more than the cost of a set of two replacement bulbs, I got SIX bulbs-- plus newer cords (some of mine are 30 years old...replacing seems like a good peace of mind)-- plus the added bonus of fewer cords draped across the table. This is a slick set up and I would recommend it-- even if all you need is replacement bulbs! ... show more

  • Reduces Number of Cords Needed
Style Name: Set Lights
This multi light cord is great to reduce the number of light cords needed for your village. I did find out that it works best with the houses that have the light holes all at the bottom. For example, the way I first arranged a row of houses, one of the buildings had its hole up high, so the cord was visible. So I swapped out that building for another with a hole on the same level as the others. You probably could hide the cord going up with some of the really large bottle brush trees, but I don't have any trees that size. ... show more

  • Don't expect to use in Dept 56
Style Name: Set Lights
I waited until this year to use this product. Totally difficult to use. The clamps holding in the lights are a little too big for the holes in the Department 56 Christmas Village and then impossible to get out of the holes. The clamps are very uncooperative plastic. I highly do not recommend this product. My cord ended up chopped up into little pieces so that I could remove them from the Village houses. You are better off lighting your money on fire and using that to light your village homes. I don't suppose Amazon will permit this review since it is negative and humorous at the same time-for some reason that is not a good mix for Amazon. But, in any event: Merry Christmas. ... show more

  • Perfect for Christmas Villages
Style Name: Set Lights
I have several villages in various places around my home and every year it is more and more daunting to have to set up individual lights for each one of them and then tie them all together with multiple extension cords and power strips. This item is the answer to my prayers, and hopefully yours as well. Now you can join 6 houses at a time on one cord. Where has this been all of my life? No more crawling around on the floor, no more scrambling to make sure the lights work, and no more trying to hide multiple bunches of cords. And there is enough cord length in between each bulb to allow you to separate the houses without making them look like a Victorian condo complex on top of each other. Guess I'll be making a hefty donation of lights to my local thrift store very soon. ... show more

  • Best Village-Saving Purchase Ever!
Style Name: Set Lights
Providing these hold up over time, these are some of the best lights ever! The squeeze-clips to anchor each bulb are actually metal, rather than flimsy plastic! EASY to use! It comes with 6 bulbs already installed! And it has an on-off roll switch! The only "little" negative was that I had to move my Christmas village a bit closer together because the span between bulbs was a small amount shorter than the previous cord had been. Overall, I LOVE this village-saving cord of lights and would definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Works great
Style Name: Set Lights
Bought these to replace cheap plastic clamped light strands that I bought locally at a store. These fit like the original metal clamps so work well with my Department 56 houses. The plastic clamps that this replaced did not fit and so I had a few scary moments where I broke a few bulbs removing. These are metal so was surprised to see a review of them being plastic. The ones I bought on Amazon are metal and work perfectly and made it a breeze to setup the village this year. ... show more
