This has been absolutely amazing for my skin. My only complaint (and warning) is to unscrew the top carefully!! I've gotten deep cuts on my thumb twice now from my current bottle when attempting to unscrew the top to use the product.

I hardly ever write reviews, but this stuff worked so well for me, I felt like I had to. To start off, I've had bad skin basically my whole life and have tried SO MANY things ranging from any over the counter product you can think of, to dermatologist prescribed medications (I even did a course of Accutane when I was 18!). My skin was at another low point right before my wedding in 2016, so my derm prescribed me Finacea foam, which like this product, is azelaic acid. My skin responded really well to it and when my script was up, I started purchasing Melazepam cream off Amazon. It wasn't quite as effective as the Finacea, and the creamy texture felt really gross, but I stuck with it for several years since I was afraid to try anything new and risk screwing up the decent enough norm I now had. Cut to the middle of 2021 and for whatever reason I decided I wanted to try new products. Like I said, the Melazepam kept my skin consistently so-so, but I thought there had to be something better. I went through a few different acne-targeted, more "natural" skin care lines to end up with more breakouts than I had in years, super red, blotchy, irritated skin, and so much dryness it hurt. My skin was PISSED. It was at that point that I finally thought, yeah dummy, just go back to what you were doing before. But I cringed at the thought of putting that yucky texture of Melazepam back on my face, so I started searching for other forms of azelaic acid and found this product. And HOOOOOLLLLY cow, this is the best my skin has looked probably in my whole life! The before photo is from almost exactly a month ago, right before I started using this, and the after is from today. Not only did this clear my angry, persistent acne, it also improved the scarring from old breakouts, texture, fine lines and overall tone of my (very pale) skin.     • One Drop Is Not Enough....
Would have given a 5 Star, but this product does not go very far. I believe I read that one drop will cover face. No. It won't. My skin drinks this stuff up, and I'm using at least 3 to 4 drops to cover my whole face and neck. It feels great on my skin and has really helped with the inflammation from acne blemishes. I love the way it is not drying out my skin, but leaving it oil free. That T-Zone oil is almost completely gone and no where near as bad as it used to be. I wish this came in a larger portion size. Also, as another reviewer said, I'm not sure my bottle was filled to the top. The bottle is very dark and you can't see through it. The product was safety sealed and inside the manufacturer's box - so, I doubt it was spilled or tampered with in any way.. I have ordered two more of these. I've used the first bottle over the past week and it's half empty. I doubt a whole bottle will last much more than 2 or 3 weeks if you cover your whole face with it. I also cover my neck. I've had some blemishes in my hairline and this serum DOES NOT make my hair or scalp oily. I wish I'd known about Azelaic Acid 2.5 years ago when I first started taking large doses of B12 and developed adult onset acne. Been trying to figure out the problem all this time, since late 2019, to present (March 2022), and finally read that large amounts of B12 can cause acne. Stopped the B12, March 4. Went 3 weeks without any new breakouts, then got a couple of very tiny bumps on my face - NOTHING LIKE BEFORE. I ordered this product and started using it as soon as I got it. No new blemishes and the couple I had developed are almost totally gone. I'll continue to use this - even after my B12 levels get back down to normal - because I love the way it makes my skin feel so oil free. Azelaic acid is good for maintaining healthy skin too. Really excellent value compare to other known brands. Dropper style is mixed emotions, but can replace the topper. The consistency is also Very good. The liquid is clear, spreads well, does not dry up prematurely, but also absorb cleanly, no gumminess afterward. This makes it an excellent base layer before other interventions. No smell either, so can be a plus. If use daily once a day, average about 3 months each bottle. Each use can be much more generous and liberally applied than other brands. ... show more

    • Sticky not long lasting
This feels like straight up goo at some point, and it's so sticky. My face flakes so much after using this. Luckily there are no critical effects from using this, but I do not recommend. Small bottle size, not worth the value.

Love this product! It really helped with my redness, and made the very large pores on my cheeks almost non existent. It's also helping with fine lines in my forehead.

    • Great for switching between salicylic acid
This has been working well for the past month. It gives my face a break from salicylic acid and I've noticed my face looks more glowy withe rest of my regimen.
