Alright…. I’ve used these boards several times. But tonight they got a hard workout!! I drive a 9,000 lb F350 and went to my property up in the mountains. Temps hard warmed to about 50 deg with plenty of snow on the ground. I was also towing a 5,000 lb trailer. After backing in and realizing it was a terrible idea, my truck basically sunk to the axles! After about 30 min of digging out mud I finally got the boards in place. Gave it a little bump backwards and then eased into the gas forward and it climbed right up on the boards and got me up. Seriously this is no joke…. Without these boards I would still be stuck on a dark mountain overnight. Even though the boards are covered in mud and weigh 50 lbs a piece I looked them over and don’t see any damage or bending! You can see in the first photo the board did exactly what it should. The second you can see the board is embedded with mud and did its job perfectly!! Save yourself some money and get these boards!!! They do not disappoint and will save you an expensive recovery!!! ... show more

Bought to mount on my RCI bed mount. These do not have standard mount sizes. Had to do some thinking and buy some aftermarket hardware to mount my boards under my RTT. The are sturdy and work well, but the hardware they come with is trash and you should be ready to buy quick disconnect hardware and get creative with your mounting solutions. My biggest complaint is that the tubing that is provided is too small for the hole drilled in the boards. The tubing will just sink into the inside holes and provide no actual security for the boards. Had to buy larger PVC pipe to fit. ... show more

No one will probably believe me but these things just got a 30,000lb two axle Freightliner propane truck unstuck! The rear tires were sunk 3-4 inches in mud and probably 3ft from solid ground. The truck was able to crawl right out with only damaging one of the tracks. The damaged track is definitely still usuable for something lighter. I can not believe how well these cheap tracks work. Way cheaper and quicker than a tow truck. I'm not saying they will always work for 30,000+lb vehicles but they worked well tonight. I'm sure they'll work just fine for any Jeeps or pickup trucks. Edited to add that the same tracks just got used on a 50,000lb truck (I took a picture this time also). One is bent and cracked but they got another truck out of the mud and are still usuable. ... show more

Since I don't need these very often, I decided to go with a budget option. I am very pleased with the quality of the product. I feel confident that they will work when I need them. The mounting does not come with any directions - just hardware. So you have to figure out what works best for your rig. I have a gobi rack and I wanted to mount these to the top of the rack. I had to cut 1 3/4" off of the bolts to make this work for me. Once I did that, the mounting lined up pretty well with the rack hole spacing. I am pleased. The hardware does not lock, but at this price I am not too worried about them. I may install a cable lock just to keep the honest people honest, but I'll have to find one that fits snugly without dragging on my roof. So, I might just leave them as is and hope for the best. ... show more
