I don't know why more manufacturers don't make cases for use as you naturally use them vertically. I love that I can set this next to my keyboard and take meeting notes during a Zoom call or read a standard document with the top elevated slightly. It's got a nice suede feel to it, is lightweight but also durable as I've used for several weeks now with no signs of wear. I like the quality and sturdiness of the cover but it is a little heavy. It will be easy to clean with a damp soft brush and rag if it gets dirty. Attractive design, nice holder for pen! Perfect case to protect my Paperwhite 10th gen. Kindle fits perfectly into the case and is protected from accidental falls. After my dad got me my first Kindle Paperwhite for Christmas I splurged on one of those beautiful hardcover book cases for it which I love! However, I wanted something cheaper that I don’t care about ruining as much to take when I travel or leave the house (in the future). I really wanted a case that had magnets on the front and back, so it would stay open without flapping around, but most of the cases I found didn’t have it and I didn’t want to shell out $40 for an Amazon case. I am so glad I got this one! It functions perfectly for my uses. Sleep/wake works perfect. Magnet holds it open and closed, its thin so I can fit in most travel bags, they have a range of cute colors, and even after using it for several months of abuse it has shown literally no sign of wear. Plus, I was able to stick some cute stickers on it! And for the price, it’s even better. Fantastic case! :) ... show more

This is overall a very nice case! I love the corner that protect Kindle Scribe. Sides are wide open though, so be careful not to drop the Scribe sideways. Magnets on the back are finicky at best, takes a few tries to find the magnet spot in order to use the case in Standing position 1 or 2. Once you find it, it is rock solid. At the same time, it is really hard to start opening the case or closing the case while you are holding the Scribe in the air. This is because the front cover gets flush the back cover, that are attached together with magnets. It needs some time to get used to, but overall a great case! ... show more

I was gifted a paperwhite for Christmas and needed a “book” experience (and wanted the auto-sleep/wake features). So I grabbed this adorable case featuring a scene of one of my favorite books for less than $12. I’ve read 25+ long books (NYTs best sellers, King novels, etc) over the past 2 months and use this every day. I carry it around with me wherever I go! I’ve even used it in the tub and it’s been splashed a few times ((it’s not waterproof but it held up just fine with light sprinkle). The case is lightweight. Snug. Easy to hold. Magnet clamps well. The cover feels nice in the hand. It holds well. And folds well. The auto sleep/wake works perfectly. It’s also been dropped a few times, with no damage occurring. It feels nice and works seamlessly just like it’s supposed to. I took off the one star only because of the fading...but really, I’ve opened and closed it (and folded it back) so many times I can’t imagine another case faring any better. I purchased a new Kindle for my 99 year-old-father (who loves his Kindle because he can change the font size!) when his older Kindle died. But I discovered that the cover he had for his Paperwhite doesn't fit the newest editions of the Paperwhite, so I needed to get a new cover that was a familiar as possible to the old edition. This is a really nice cover. It has a bit of texture to make it easy to hold on to. It's very light-weight and the sleep cover aspect/magnet works well. What else can I say, this Kindle Paperwhite case is just too adorable. Aside for aesthetic, it also does it job well. The magnet is not super strong, but it does keep the Paperwhite close when it needs to (along with it wake/sleep function). If no one tells you, this cover may look like it cost you an arm and a leg...in reality, it is a great product for the price. I always get compliments when people see it.
